Houma Armature Works becomes authorized North America AvK parts and
service distributor
Cummins Generator Technologies has added an authorized parts and service only
distributor for the North America AvK market, Houma Armature Works. In addition,
Houma will perform maintenance and service on behalf of Cummins Generator
Technologies for STAMFORD and AvK alternators.
Houma Armature Works, a Ward Leonard company, is an industrial maintenance, repair
and overhaul (MRO) service company which specializes in providing highly engineered
solutions for generator, motor and pump systems to a variety of customers. These
solutions result in increased uptime, reduction of costs and improved business
productivity.

Houma employs approximately 80 people and operates from two facilities in Louisiana
and Texas.
