Deeper Understanding Of God From The Christian Perspective

  1. 1. Deeper Understanding Of God From The Christian PerspectiveEleven years ago I made a decision to surrender my life to Christ. Since then Ive come to realizemore about God than i ever have before. From the Christians perspective there are a few things that Ifeel we must understand regarding God in relation to what the holy bible says about Him.The Requirement of Faith and Seeking following the Ways of GodHebrews 11:6And without faith it is not possible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believethat he is available and that he rewards those who seriously seek him. There tend to be two very important keys in this passage that will help us understand more aboutGod, faith looking. He Requires Us to possess FaithTo launch out into the deep and say that God is real takes a level of faith. I have to think that themoment I said: "jesus, I surrender my life to you " that God was pleased with me and has been eversince. When we continue to pray, praise, read the Bible and fellowship with other Christians, we areworking out our faith. One of the best ways to understand more about having faith and pleasing God would be to look at thelife of Jesus. He had a lot to say about the subject. In actual fact, there were times when hed look atpeople and state : "Your faith has healed you." When Jesus was around, he pointed out to peoplethat they either had little or even great faith. In the guide of Mark, Chapter sixteen, we read, "Jesusappeared to the Eleven as they had been eating; he rebuked all of them for their lack of faith as wellas their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him following he had risen."God rewards Those Who Earnestly Seek himThere are many scriptures that make reference to seeking after God. Jeremiah 29:1 helps us tocomprehend more about God by saying : "You will seek me and find me when you seek mepersonally with all your heart." Matthew 5:6 adds pounds to the point by saying: "fortunate are thosewho hunger as well as thirst for righteousness, with regard to they will be filled." Other pathways saythings like, "Seek ye first the kingdom of god " and "Love the Lord your God with all of your coronaryheart, mind and soul."As Christians we are instructed to look at ourselves to see if we are within the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). Am I seeking God on a daily basis? Do I reside a life that is out of stock to total trust in god Wecan understand more about the relationship with God in the event that we take a look at thingsthrough his perspective found in the Holy Bible. If we can commit ourselves to trusting in him dailyand seeking following his ways with all of the heart, mind and soul then, I believe we are residing inthe Christian faith. In the event that we do this God has stated that he will be pleased and haverewards for us.Jeremiah 29
