Introduction The 9-in-1 Hi-Speed USB2.0 Flash Card Reader/Writer supports the widely used flash memory cards such as CompactFlash(CF) Type1/II card, Micro Drive (MD), SmartMedia Card (SMC), xD Picture Card. Memory Stick (MS), MagicGate Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, MagicGate Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Pro Duo, Memory Stick ROM, Secure Digital (SD), Mini SD and Multimedia Card (MMC). It can be used as removable storage disks in enormous data exchange applications between PC and PC or PC and various consumer electronic appliances. The 9-in-1 Hi-Speed USB2.0 Flash Card Reader/Writer reads digital data saved on memory card while users can manipulating electronic devices such as digital cameras, MP3 players, PDAs and mobile phones… etc. In addition that users can transfer manifold information such as data, graphics, texts or digital images from one electronic device to another quickly and easily. With the Flash Card Reader/Writer, users’ experience will be further enhanced by the Plug-and-Play nature built into latest operation system such as Windows 2000/XP and Mac OS X. 2.   4. 4. 6. Windows Driver Installation Windows 98SE a. Start your computer running Microsoft Windows98. Please close any open applications. Insert the Driver Software CD, double-click on “My Computer”, next double-click on the drive corresponding to your CD-ROM, then double-click on the “Setup.exe” file to begin. b. Click “Next” c. When the installation is complete, select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now” and click “Finish”, the computer will restart. Page 4 of 8 S/N:2004052401

Plug the 9-in-1 Flash Card Reader/Writer to the USB port of your PC when the computer is boot up, the windows will prompt find new hardware “ENE USB Memory Card Reader Controller”, when the driver install is complete, remove the Card Reader from USB port and plug again. Then Windows will find new hardware “ENE USB Storage Device”. e. Double-click on “My Computer”, the “Removable Disk” icons are shown in “My Computer”, Windows ME, Windows2000, Windows XP a. Start your computer with Windows ME/Windows2000/Windows XP, plug the Card Reader/Writer into USB port, OS will install the default driver of USB storage device. Page 5 of 8 S/N:2004052401

Insert the Driver Software CD, double-click on “My Computer”, next double-click on the drive corresponding to your CD-ROM, then double-click on the “Setup.exe” file to begin. c. Click “Next”, then the screen will show a screen as follow PNP Disk allows OS to generate disk drive whenever user inserts flash card into device. Disk drive will also be removed whenever user removes flash card from device. Click “Next” to continue. d. The driver installation is complete when the screen is shown Page 6 of 8 S/N:2004052401
  7. 7. e. Click “Finish”, double-click on “My Computer”, the “Removable Disk” icons are shown in “My Computer” 7. Driver Uninstall In Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP, plug the 9-in-1 Card Reader/Writer and Insert the Driver Software CD, double-click on “My Computer”, next double-click on the drive corresponding to your CD-ROM, then double-click on the “Uninstall.bat”. Click “Next” and the driver will be uninstalled. Page 7 of 8 S/N:2004052401

Important Notice ♦ The Driver installation is necessary for all OS even in Windows ME, Windows2000 & Windows XP. ♦ Plug the Flash Card according to the right direction, otherwise it may cause the flash card or card reader damaged. ♦ During file and data transfer, the Active LED will blinking. This moment, please do not attempt to remove the USB connection, this may eventually generate system unstable. ♦ For Windows2000 users: To use the 9-in-1 Card Reader, please update your Windows to Service Pack3 or later. ♦ Before unplugging 9-In-1 Card Reader from the USB port in Windows ME/2000/XP, make sure you go to the right hand bottom of the screen to stop the USB device. Otherwise, it may result in losing data that you have saved on Flash Card. ♦ On the Windows taskbar, the Safely Remove Hardware icon will also appear where you can click it to safely unplug the device even if the computer is turned on. ♦ This Hi-Speed USB Flash Disk is a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 compliant device and is recommended hat you plug it into a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port. Whenever you plug the disk into a non-Hi-Speed USB port, Windows will show an alert message at the taskbar telling you that it is plugged into a non-Hi-Speed USB hub. You can still continue to use the disk but it will run at a reduced speed. Page 8 of 8 S/N:2004052401
