  8. 8. 4. What is this class about?<br />This class will be about four main things. <br />1. Geography skills<br />2. Reading and Writing skills<br />3. Developing an understanding of the people and places of the world.<br />4. Developing an ability to make good decisions and perform in a school environment. <br />
  9. 9. 5. Expectations<br />Tomorrow we will in depth with the expectations.<br />For today understand that I expect you to be prepared for class, to do your work in class, and take responsibility for your own decisions.<br />
  10. 10. 6. Supplies<br />Everyday you must have these four things:<br /> 1. Pen or Pencil (it is best to bring several) that is ready to write.<br /> 2. Three Ring Binder (or folder) with class materials. (This will be in class)<br /> 3. College ruled lined paper.<br /> 4. Your textbook. Geography Alive.<br />

  12. 12. 8. Names<br />In the time left I am going to try to learn some names. Please come up with an alliterative adjective and noun that will help me remember your name. <br />Example: Massive Money Mike<br />When I call on you, share your name. <br />
