THE “THIRD PARTY INTERFERENCE” oncern over the Union law min- istry’s contin- ued intransi- gence towards the collegium system was creating the perception that there is something more to the government’s stance than what meets the eye has now been ex- pressed by the Supreme Court. The perception which the statements of some of those in high con- stitutional positions cre- ated was strong enough to prompt Congress leader Sonia Gandhi to allege that the government was “a cal- culated attempt to delegiti- mize judiciary”. The re- mark was objected to by Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Not just Sonia Gandhi but also some former judg- es have viewed the sus- tained attacks on judici- ary’s collegium system for the appointment of judges as a threat to the judici- ary’s well-being. Law Min- ister Kiren Rijiju’s state- ment in Parliament that “unless the procedure of appointment of judges changes, the issue of high judicial appointments will keep cropping up” was taken to imply that the Su- preme Court should junk the collegium system and accept the National Judi- cial Appointments Com- mission Act. The Act was invalidated by the Su- preme Court which is in no mood to review the order in the interest of judicial independence. In the latest develop- ment a bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Abhay S. Oka voiced what has been suspected all along. Unhappy with the government sitting over names of judges recom- mended for transfer, the bench said the delay was giving the impression of third party interference. So long as the NJAC Act remains struck down, the government should re- spect the Supreme Court’s judgment and clear names recommended for appoint- ment/transfer of judges. The collegium must also clear itself of nepotism charges. C In the latest development a bench of Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Abhay S. Oka voiced what has been suspected all along. Unhappy with the government sitting over names of judges recommended for transfer, the bench said the delay was giving the impression of third party interference n December, India began its yearlong G20 presiden- cy, taking over from Indo- nesia amid rising geopo- litical tensions and eco- nomic uncertainty. Surg- ing inflation has raised the specter of a global re- cession. Supply chains, made more efficient but also more vulnerable by globalization and the digi- tal revolution, are crum- bling under the weight of COVID-related disrup- tions and the war in Ukraine, both of which have revealed and deep- ened the fault lines of the international order. During the Great Reces- sion of 2008-09, the G20 arguably helped to pre- vent a worse crisis by per- suading the world’s big- gest economies to coordi- nate their fiscal and mon- etary policies. With the global economy at a criti- cal juncture, following decades of relentless glo- balization that have made markets increasingly in- terconnected, the group could once again play this role. To confront the looming global crisis, G20 coun- tries must, first and fore- most, coordinate macroe- conomic policies. During and after the Great Reces- sion, developed econo- mies attempted to boost growth by keeping inter- est rates at or close to zero – or even negative. While this was necessary, ultra- low rates soon became a trap, preventing countries that wanted to raise inter- est rates from doing so, lest their currencies ap- preciate and their exports decline. The COVID-19 pandem- ic, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the spike in inflation have freed the world’s largest economies from the low-interest-rate trap. But this transition could have been less pain- ful had governments coor- dinated their macroeco- nomic policies. With the global economy on the verge of recession, the G20 must provide leader- ship on this issue and help policymakers avoid their predecessors’ mistakes. These intricate produc- tion processes have led to greater vulnerabilities. In a classic oligopoly, if a war or a pandemic broke out and 10% of manufac- turers stopped producing cars, 10% fewer cars would be produced. Nowa- days, however, if the world’s wheel manufac- turers shut down, car pro- duction would fall by 100%. This is precisely what is happening today, as a chip shortage has dis- rupted the global car in- dustry, leading to sharp price increases. A vertically serrated in- dustry could also be weap- onized. Governments could, for example, threat- en to shut down produc- tion of a critical compo- nent, such as computer chips, knowing that this would bring global pro- duction to a halt. Some policymakers, like US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, have touted friend- shoring, whereby coun- tries like the United States intend to reduce their reli- ance on geopolitical rivals by limiting the sources of critical goods to a few trusted allies. But this ap- proach could further ex- acerbate tensions and push the world closer to a disastrous war. Instead, the world’s superpowers must commit to avoiding such tactics. The G20 could play a central role in facilitating tense negotia- tions, designing interna- tional agreements, and overseeing coordination strategies. But first, G20 countries must overcome their ten- dency to favor the inter- ests of major economies. The pandemic, during which lower-income coun- tries were deprived of ac- cess to vaccines due to hoarding by developed economies, has highlight- ed the need for global soli- darity. As a 2020 letter to the G20 written by former UK Prime Minister Gor- don Brown and others noted, the group could provide the sort of coordi- nated global leadership needed to address health disparities between the Global North and South. But even beyond the pandemic, emerging and developing economies, particularly in Africa and the Pacific, often find themselves at the mercy of major powers, their prosperity contingent upon election outcomes in developed countries. This year, the G20 could take a giant step forward by ena- bling several smaller countries to participate in its deliberations and make their voices heard. SOURCE: PROJECT SYNDICATE THE G20 AND G MINOR I KAUSHIK BASU The writer is a former chief economist of the World Bank and chief economic adviser to the GoI We could call this proposed group G Minor. While the G20 represents the world’s largest economies, the G Minor would represent the needs of emerging and developing countries that lack the diplomatic and military clout required to protect their interests on their own. Forming such a group would be an admirable gesture of inclusion, enabling India to make its mark on the G20 and achieve a more just international order COVID-19 AND UKRAINE WAR SHOWS THAT EVERY CRISIS LIKELY TO HAVE DISPROPORTIONATE ECONOMIC EFFECTS The pandemic and the war in Ukraine have also shown that in our globalized, interlinked world, every crisis is likely to have disproportionate economic effects. In a standard oligopoly, as described by the nineteenth-century economist Augustin Cournot, a few firms produce the same good, but this is no longer the case. For example, cars had once been produced in their entirety by a single manufacturer. Today, however, many firms manufacture the different parts separately – one compa- ny makes the chassis, another the wheels, and so on – creating what I have called a vertically serrated industry. AMID RISING GEOPOLITICAL TENSIONS, ECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY, G20 CAN PLAY CENTRAL ROLE IN PREVENTING A MUCH WORSE CRISIS BY FACILITATING COORDINATION OF THE FISCAL AND THE MONETARY POLICIES

The Uddhav Thacker- ay faction of the Shiv Sena is losing faith in the NCP. It seems that NCP leader Ajit Pa- war’s politics has scared Thackeray fac- tion and Shiv Sena leaders. In the past, the government had provided its ship to Ajit Pawar to go to Mumbai from Nagpur. Before that, Ajit Pawar in the assembly ses- sion in Nagpur was adopting a soft atti- tude towards the gov- ernment all the time, while he is the leader of the opposition. Then Ajit Pawar was not included in the no confidence motion against Speaker Rahul Narvekar. Pawar him- self also admitted that he was not aware of this proposal. It is being told that Shiv Sena needs Con- gress more at this time and it is also expected to trust Congress. The BMC elections are as important for Shiv Se- na’s Uddhav Thacker- ay faction as the as- sembly elections but NCP cannot help him in that election be- cause NCP has no base in Mumbai city while Congress has a strong base. So, Shiv Sena needs Congress. That is why Sanjay Raut praised Rahul Gandhi and his yatra in ‘Sa- mana’. He wrote that the yatra has given Ra- hul a new ‘halo’, which can change the bal- ance of power in 2024. He hinted that Rahul Gandhi can be consid- ered a leader. Does the survival of Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction depend on the Congress? Effortsbeing made to freecountryof Naxalismbefore 2024 LS polls:Shah First India Bureau Raipur: Efforts are be- ing made to make the country free of Naxal- ism before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday . He was speaking at a rally in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. The number of inci- dents of Maoist vio- lence in the country declined from 2,258 in 2009 to 509 in 2021, the Union Minister said. The BJP leader also lashed out at the Con- gress government in the state, saying that the only progress dur- ing its tenure has been an increase in crime and corruption. As per the sources, this time the BJP has made a strategy to focus more on the lost seats. In this sequence, Amit Shah’s meeting is the first in Chaibasa. After that preparations are on to hold a similar meeting in the palace of Santhal Pargana. BJP is trying its best to con- vert the lost seats into victory this time. There are a total of 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state of Jharkhand, out of whichtheJharkhand NDA formed by joining BJP and AJSU had won 12 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. AJSU had won one seat in Giridih. The grand alliance formed between JMM and Congress was lim- ited to just 02 seats. The Rajmahal and Singhb- hum seats went to the account of the Grand Alliance. The Singhb- hum seat was won by Congress’s Geeta Koda. BJP candidates were victorious on 11 seats. BJP candidate and for- mer CM Arjun Munda won the Khunti seat by a very small margin. From 2014, the BJP started dismantling the Jharkhand Mukti Mor- cha (JMM) stronghold, which continued in 2019 as well. Kamal had cap- tured JMM’s tradition- al seats like Dumka and Godda. Only one seat of San- thal Pargana Rajmahal went to JMM’s account. Shibu Soren, an 8-time MP in Dumka, had to face a crushing defeat when BJP’s Sunil Soren defeated him. West Singhbhum (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a visit to Jharkhand, on Satur- day lambasted He- mant Soren-led JMM government and said intruders are force- fully marrying tribal girls in the state and grabbing their land. Addressing a pub- lic meeting in Chai- basa, Shah said, “The Chief Minister (He- mant Soren) of the state is a tribal, but this government is anti-tribal. During their tenure, corrup- tion has been in its peak. The era of mid- dlemen and grabbers of tribal land is back.”Shahslammed the Hemant Soren government for al- legedly ignoring the tribal welfare for the sake of vote bank politics. “Intruders are forcefully marrying tribal girls and grab- bing their land. I warn the Hemant Soren government today, to stop this au- dacity by intruders. Otherwise, the peo- ple of Jharkhand will not forgive you. The greed for vote bank cannot be big- ger than tribal wel- fare,” Shah said. Strong resentment against government in Joshimath for ignoring warnings Joshimath (PTI): Strong resentment pre- vails among people here against the government for the indifference with which it treated the warnings about a dangerous situation of buildings in the Hima- layan town due to heavy construction activities going on around it. They hold the NTPC’s Tapovan-Vishnugad hydel project mainly re- sponsible for the situa- tion. “We have been drawing the attention of authorities for the past 14 months. But we were not heeded. Now when the situation is getting out of hand, they are sending expert teams to assess things,” Joshimath Bachao Sangharsh Samiti con- venor Atul Sati said. “If attention was paid in time to what we were saying things would not have been so alarming in Joshi- math,” he added. Land subsidence had made the houses of 14 families insecure in No- vember 2021 itself, Sati recalls. He said that people held a demonstration following this at the tehsil office on Novem- ber 16, 2021 demanding rehabilitation and handed a memorandum to the SDM who ac- knowledged that even the tehsil office premis- eshaddevelopedcracks. “If the government was aware of the prob- lem why didn’t it act for more than a year to ad- dress it? What does that show?” Sati asked. He said that under the pressure of people immediate steps have been taken like tempo- rary stopping of the NTPC’s Tapovan-Vish- nugad project and con- struction of Helang- Marwari bypass but they are not a perma- nent solution. “The threat to Joshi- math’s existence will persist until these pro- jects are stalled perma- nently,” he said. Joshimath Bachao Sangharsh Samiti will continue to fight till the very end until it is done, he added. Earlier, Dhami also held a high-level meeting with the officials of the Health Department regarding the prevention of Covid-19 at the State Secretariat. Earlier on Saturday, CM Dhami also conducted a survey of the areas in the town where houses and other establish- ments, roads and fields have displayed cracks due to land subsidence. He also met with displaced families who were relocated after cracks were seen in their houses. New Delhi (PTI): A court here on Friday extended the judicial custody of Aaftab Amin Poonawala, accused of killing his live- in partner and dismember- ing her body, by four days. Poonawala was produced before the court through video conference. “I am giving four days judicial custody. Accused will be produced before me physi- cally on January 10,” Met- ropolitan Magistrate Aviral Shukla said. Meanwhile, Poonawala’s advocate MS Khan moved an application for the release of his debit and credit cards, which were earlier seized by the police. Khan said Poon- awala was facing a harsh winter inside jail without adequate clothes to wear. Palghar (PTI): A court in Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Saturday adjourned till January 9 the hearing of the bail application of actor Sheezan Khan, arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of co-star Tuni- sha Sharma. The court deferred the hearing after the Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar (MBVV) police submitted they had not been able to record the statement of Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma as she was busy with post-death rituals and sought time till January 13 to put up their stand on Khan’s bail applica- tion. He underlined that states and centre should work together and scale up the speed of pro- gress. The Prime Minister said that in order to build a developed India, the country is focussing on four pillars of infra- structure, investment, innovation and inclu- sion. He said that today, entire world is reposing its faith in India and we are being looked up as a country that can bring stability to the global supply chain. He said that the country will be able to take full advan- tage of this only if states take lead, main- taining focus on quality and taking decisions with an India-first ap- proach. He added that states should focus on pro-development gov- ernance, ease of doing business, ease of living and provision of robust infrastructure. The former Union minister also said the yatra is meant to “ideo- logically combat the RSS and the BJP”. Replying to a report- er’s question here, Ramesh said, “The Bharat Jodo Yatra has not been taken out to project Rahul Gandhi as a prime ministerial can- didate. It is an ideologi- cal yatra and Gandhi is itsmainface.Butitisnot an individual’s yatra.” He asserted that the Kanyakumari-to-Kash- mir foot march, which is currently passing through Haryana, is not an “election yatra”. Ramesh said it is un- fair to ask if the opposi- tion party is projecting Gandhi as its prime ministerial face in the 2024 general election. “No, No, No.... We are not. This is not an elec- tion yatra,” he said in response to the report- er’s question. “There are 200 Bharat yatris. It is the Congress party’s yatra. The party workers are involved. Obviously, the nation’s attention is on Rahul Gandhi because he is the most visible, promi- nent and dynamic face of the yatra. But this is not meant for an indi- vidual, this is not meant to project him as a prime ministerial can- didate,” he said. Flanked by former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hoo- da, Ramesh said the yatra is meant to “ideo- logically combat the RSS and the BJP”. “Rahul Gandhi has raised three big issues during the Yatra — eco- nomic inequality , social polarisation and politi- cal authoritarianism. General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmab- hoomi Teerth Kshetra - Champat Rai - and Trust Treasurer - Govind Dev Giri - have praised Rahul, and welcomed the yatra. Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ramlala temple, has written a letter to Rahul, appreciating his Bharat Jodo Yatra and giving him his best wishes. At the same time, BJP’s rebel Sadhvi Uma Bharti also openly said that devotion to Lord Ram and Hanuman ji is not the copyright of BJP. The Sangh has made it clear in a way that the basic agenda of the Sangh is ‘Sarvajan Hitaya Sarvajan Sukhay’, that is, any leader who will talk about the interest of Hindus and the interest of the country, he will definitely get the support of the Sangh and its sub- sidiary organisations. The new year has brought a new ray of hope for many politicians, especially for those who were waiting for their turn on the political pitch since the new year. Trusted sources reveal that ‘this reshuffle of the Modi cabinet can happen anytime before the budget session i.e. between January 15 and 31. Before this, the BJP’s national executive meeting is being held on January 16-17. It is believed that in this, the extension of the term of the party’s national president JP Nadda can also be approved. Actually, the Sangh wants that at least till the 2024 general elections, the reins of the party should remain with Nadda. Notably, Nadda’s term is going to end on January 20. Sources reveal that 12 new ministers can be made at the centre and NDA allies are also going to get enough space in this expansion. For example, a ministerial berth for Chirag Pas- wan of LJP is considered to be confirmed. The Akali Dal, which was crushed by the farmer’s movement, is also returning to the NDA fold and Harsimrat Kaur can again be- come a minister. Of the 12 Shiv Sena MPs who had joined the Shinde faction, any one could be made a minister. Piyush Goyal may again get the responsibility of Railway Ministry. The unprecedented support re- ceived by Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in UP indicates that this time Rahul will again contest from Amethi and BJP has no trump card other than Smriti Irani to give him a fight. Thus, her ministerial chair is believed to be safe for the time being. States like Karnataka and Kerala may also get representation in the cabinet. There are speculations that Narendra Singh Tomar will be dropped, per- haps owing to the ill handling of farmer agitation. The work of delimitation and finalisa- tion of electoral rolls in Jammu and Kashmir has been completed. So, in such a situation, the implications of the state- ment of Tarun Chugh, BJP in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, can be far reaching as he said that ‘when the snow of the liti- gants melts in May, then there can be an atmosphere of elections.’ Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra concludes in Kashmir and National Conference and PDP are participating in the concluding phase. Thus Congress has made it clear that in the upcoming elections of Jammu and Kashmir, it will be in an alliance with Na- tional Conference and Mehbooba Mufti’s PDP. On the other hand, the BJP intends to contest the polls alone in the elections. 17 leaders of Ghulam Nabi’s Democratic Azad Party have already joined Congress, so now Ghulam Nabi is not getting any interest from BJP. When Jammu had 37 seats, the BJP won 25 of these. The seats in Jammu have increased to 43 in the new delimitation, BJP intends to win all these seats. At the same time, 9 seats are re- served for ST i.e. Van Gurjar, out of which 7 seats are in Kashmir Valley. BJP is also eyeing these reserved seats. Under this strategy, BJP has nominated Gulab Ali Khatana of Gurjar Bakarwal community to Rajya Sabha and he can also be made a minister in the center in the coming days. BJP’s alliance can also take shape with Sajjad Lone’s party. Anyway, BJP wants to make Jitendra Singh the Hindu CM of Jammu and Kashmir. This could prove to be Modi’s master stroke for 2024 for Modi. The issue of PoK’s merger with Kashmir is now in cold storage, because China is eyeing India on this issue, as China’s Silk Route passes through there. Do you remember American billionaire Darshan Singh Dhaliwal, who was stopped right after landing at Delhi airport from America on 23 October 2021 during the ongoing farmer’s movement in India. Indian agencies had interrogated him strictly at the airport and then from the airport itself, he was forced to board the flight back to America. Dhaliwal was ac- cused of funding the langar of the farmer’s movement going on at the Delhi border. Dhaliwal has more than two thousand gas stations in America, his earnings are also immense. He is said to have a very personal relationship with the Badal family. When the Badal- led Akali Dal government was in power in Punjab, Darshan Singh’s younger brother Surjit Singh Rakhra was a minister in that government. Dhaliwal also has a very personal relationship with Captain Amarinder Singh. When he was sent back from Delhi airport in 21, Parkash Singh Badal himself spoke to PM Modi about this and informed him about Dhaliwal’s chari- table work, even during the 2004 Tsunami period, Dhaliwal helped common Indians through financial aid. It is said that India’s Ambassador to America Taranjit Singh Sandhu has also played an important role in persuading Dhaliwal. So, Dhaliwal’s name is surprisingly included in the list of 27 NRIs who have been honoured with the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman this year. Dhaliwal has also termed PM Modi as the best PM of the world now. In the 9 assembly elections to be held in 2023 (Mad- hya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tel- angana, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura) and the 2024 general elections, the BJP is going to place a big bet on ‘Vistaraks’. Gujarat state president CR Patil showed its most successful use in the Gujarat assembly elections held last year. Inspired by Patil’s strategies, BJP is taking inspiration for the up- coming elections in these 9 states. Under which one vistarak is being appointed in every assembly constituency. This vista- rak can be a former MP or MLA of the party or a senior office bearer of the party and the onus of securing victory on the said seat will also be that of the vistarak. The party is raising a large army of Vistaars across the country, this will also reduce the party’s dependence on the Sangh and these Vistaraks are proving to be the eyes, ears and nose of the party. Let's dive into this fierce fashion world of Leopard Print with City First eopard Print is a pat- tern that replicates the skin markings of a leopard. Faux fur is used to imitate the look of actual leopard skin in this example, but it is also combined with a variety of colours to create prints for clothes, accessories, and interior design. It's critical to differentiate between leopard print and leopard skin. Up until the 1960s, leopard skin was a popular material in high fashion; at that time, it stood for money , pow- er and refinement. Leopard print is prized for its eye- catching appeal but does not require the death of endan- gered animals. Depending on the type of clothing or item, it might represent independ- ence, confidence, sexuality, and nonconformity when uti- lised in female clothes. Unless they are rock stars or deliber- ately trying to shock, men are less likely to wear leopard print. Having said that, sport- ing short sleeves or leopard print shoes exudes noncon- formist confidence. Fashion shows have been dominated by leopard print designs in 2018 2019, but then it’s never really gone away and it seems unlikely that it ever will. Choose a figure-hugging LBD with an animal design, and wear sunglasses with it. The dress with the ani- mal print will appear styl- ish, seductive and hot. It would look wonderful with unkempt hair and winged eyeliner. Add heels or flats to complete your look. Girlfriends, it is a dress that can be changed for the winter. Pastel hues can be used to emphasise or enhance an animal print dress with lovely hues. If you choose a pastel jacket, you should be fine to go. Adding an animal pat- tern to simple clothing may completely change the look. L MRIDULA SHARMA cityfirst@firstindia.co.in For generations, people have used images of leopards

Fortunately, the American Medical Association (AMA) offers some recommendations for the prom- ises that will have the biggest impact. Start by being more physi- cally active. The American Med- ical Association (AMA) advises that adults engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensi- ty activity per week or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity per week. Many people kick off the start of each new year with unre- alistic health resolu- tions. These are usually ambi- tious, immediate lifestyle changes that are very difficult to maintain. The good news is that small, positive health choices made right now can have long-lasting effects. THE AMA'S 10 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A HEALTHY 2023 BE MORE PHYSICALLY ACTIVE Adults should do at least 150 minutes a week of moderate- intensity activity, or 75 minutes a week of vigorous-intensity activity . BE UP TO DATE WITH VACCINATIONS Being up to date with vaccina- tions including the annual in- fluenza vaccine and the COV- ID-19 vaccine for everyone aged six months or older. Speak with the physician about the eligibil- ity for a bivalent booster. Any- one with questions about the COVID-19 vaccines should speak with their physician and review trusted resources. Fol- lowing evidence-based public health measures, such as physi- cal distancing and wearing face masks, are also an important way to help protect against COVID-19 and the flu. GET SCREENED Statistical models show that since April 2020, millions of screenings for breast, colorec- tal, and prostate cancer diagno- ses may have been missed due to pandemic-related care dis- ruptions. Check with the physi- cian to find out if you're due for preventive care, tests or screen- ings, and make an ap p o i n t m e n t . These measures are designed to keep you healthy and help your doctor spot certain condi- tions before they become more serious. KNOW YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE Understand your numbers and take the necessary steps to get high blood pressure, also known as hypertension, under control. Doing so will reduce your risk of heart attack or stroke. LEARN ABOUT THE RISK FOR TYPE 2 DIABETES Check for the risk of type 2 diabetes by checking the fasting and random glucose. Steps you take now can help prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes, which is a risk factor for severe COVID-19 out- comes, including hospitaliza- tion or death. STRESS MANAGEMENT Manage stress—a good diet, sufficient sleep (at least 7.5 hours per night), daily exercise and wellness activities, such as yoga and meditation, are key in- gredients to maintaining and improving your m e n t a l health, but don't hesitate to ask for help from a mental health professional when you need it. REDUCE INTAKE OF PROCESSED FOODS Reduce your intake of pro- cessed foods and sugar-sweet- ened beverages, especially those with added sodium and sugar— eat less red meat and processed meats, and add more plant- based foods, such as olive oil, nuts and seeds to your diet. Also, reduce your consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages and drink more water instead. Drinking sugary beverages, even 100% fruit juices, is associ- ated with higher all-cause mor- tality risk, according to a study published in JAMA Network. REDUCE ALCOHOL If consuming alcohol, do so in moderation as defined by the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans—up to one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men, and only by adults of legal drinking age. QUIT SMOKING AND TOBACCO Talk with your doctor about to- bacco and e-cigarette use (or vaping) and how to quit—de- clare your home and car smoke- and be aerosol-free to eliminate secondhand exposure. FOLLOW DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO MEDICATION Follow your physician's instruc- tions if prescribed pain medica- tion or antibiotics— if you are taking prescription opioids or other medications, follow your doctor's instructions, store them safely to prevent diversion or misuse, and properly dis- pose of any leftover medi- cation. If a healthcare professional determines that you need antibiot- ics, take them exactly as prescribed—antibi- otic resistance is a serious public health problem and antibi- otics will not make you feel better if you have a virus, such as a cold or flu. Sharing this video, the actress wrote, “God gave me the best gift - My daughter, Devi after my first best gift the love of my life… My hus- band … @iamksgofficial Luckiest girl in the world #itsmybirthday #new- mommy #grateful #blessed #monkeylove.” Sushmita Rohman together again? F or Kiara Adva- ni, the year 2022 has not only seen some of the best films re- l e a s e s — Ju g Ju g g Jeeyo and Bhool Bhu- laiyaa 2, to name a couple—but also a fashion game that matches her profes- sional prowess. The actor has won a berth as the most fashion- able star of 2022 thanks to her excel- lent fashion selec- tions and certain fashion risks. When promoting her work or walking the red carpet, the actor de- livers a punch with each appearance, of- fering us one stand- out look after another. Kiara just shared some photos from a Lenskart advertise- ment shoot, and she looked deadly in a bright red outfit. She wears a scarlet dress with a sweetheart neckline and a ban- deau bust. Over the torso, the dress has cutouts that expose just the appropriate amount of flesh. We adore how the over- lapping panels are subtly gathered for a feminine snug fit that ac- centuates the form. We would want to wear Kiara’s outfit all season long. STUNNING IN RED BIPASHASHARESA GLIMPSEOFDEVI Kiara Advani Kangana Ranaut Bipasha Basu Her post... Her story... Rajeev Sen’s post... Poster...
