The pipe range offered by FIBROVER can be used for various applications, namely water and sewer lines, chemical process lines, etc. and can be designed for following technical parameters:
• NOMINAL DIAMETER: ND 25mm to 1.300mm
• NOMINAL PRESSURE: NP 4, 6, 10, 16 and 25 bar
• STIFFNESS: SN 1.250, 5.000 and 10.000 Pa
Our technical department design of pipes with intermediate specifications or exceeding the standards. The standard joints of FIBROVER pipes are composed of bell & spigot ends that offer several advantages over other methods. Both the bell and spigot are an integral part of the pipe. Furthermore, this type of joint can be equipped with a locking key, which allows the axial loads to be transferred and reduces or eliminates the use of anchor blocks in the line.
The fittings for fiberglass pipelines are prefabricated from pipe segments, which are welded by means of the “hand lay-up” technique, and a large range of special pieces can be manufactured in this manner, namely:
ADVANTAGES OF FIBERGLASS PIPES
• Less weight compared to alternative materials, for the same mechanical characteristics; • Ease and efficiency of installation; • Monolithic joints; • Excellent design flexibility and optimization of weight to performance ratio; • Axial load resistance compared to pipes produced with other technologies; • Option of pressure test nipples for testing the joint after the installation; • Extremely smooth internal surface finish; • No cathodic protection is required.
