PROJECT GOALS <ul><li>Ensure villagers have the knowledge necessary to </li></ul><ul><li>meet the basic nutritional needs of their families by </li></ul><ul><ul><li>caring for the soil </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>growing vegetables organically </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Educate families about health and environmental risks associated with pesticide use </li></ul><ul><li>Provide the means to cultivate and sell agricultural crops as a potential source of income </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure families have the information they need to avoid taking on debt and loans that they can’t manage </li></ul>

  20. 34. <ul><li>The work is going to be done by volunteers from Canada and people from the village. Everyone will feel this is THEIR project if they are involved in creating it. </li></ul>PLAYGROUND CLASSROOM SUPPLIES
  21. 35. Some kids from the Comox Valley are going to raise money for more art supplies, books, posters and things that make learning FUN.
