  7. 7. VEINS OF THE PELVIS AND PERINEUM • Follows the corresponding arteries. • They empties into the inferior vena cava.

  9. 9. NERVES OF THE PELVIS • Somatic: Sacral and coccygeal plexuses • Autonomic: Pelvic part of the autonomic nervous system
  10. 10. SACRAL PLEXUS • Lumbosacral trunk
  11. 11. COCCYGEAL PLEXUS • Small network of nerve fibres formed by the anterior rami of S4 and S5 and the coccygeal nerves.
  12. 12. PELVIC AUTONOMIC NERVES • Sacral sympathetic trunks. • Peri-arterial plexuses. • Hypogastric plexuses. • Pelvic splanchnic nerves.
