Plant a Row for the Hungry!The Food Depot, Northern New Mexicos Food Bank, is experiencing a heightened need forfresh produce as transportation costs limit our ability to afford frequent shipments of fruits andvegetables. Nows the time to share the gifts from your garden with hungry people in ourcommunity.Participation is easy! Plant one extra row of vegetables or fruits and donate the proceedsdirectly to The Food Depot. The Food Depot will distribute the food from your garden tofamilies, seniors and the working poor across Northern New Mexico.Individuals: Bring your surplus fruits, vegetables, and herbs to The Food Depot, 1222 SilerRoad in Santa Fe during business hours (8:00-4:00) for distribution to those in need.Groups: Organize a multi-garden donation or grow a demonstration/education garden anddonate the crops.Businesses: Your business or employer can contribute in-kind or financial donations tosupport our Plant a Row campaign. Make a financial contribution, provide free materials toPlant a Row gardeners, or distribute this flyer to help the campaign.
