of the ISSCR

• Fadi Bejjani, MD, PhD, built a highly successful career in
medicine over the course of more than four decades and
more recently in cell therapy. Also widely recognized as
one of the pioneers of arts medicine, he currently serves
as a senior consultant to Lifelong, an international
cosmeceutical and nutraceuticals company. An active
member of the professional community, Dr. Fadi “FJ”
Bejjani has been a member of a number of organizations
including the International Society for Stem Cell
Since its founding in 2002, the International Society for
Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) has served as a voice for the
stem cell research community.

organization’s official podcast, which often discusses

help members advance in their career. The organization’s
career development resource shows a list of various
fellowships and grants that are available to researchers and

professionals through committee involvement.
-Public outreach: The ISSCR hosts a special website
dedicated to providing the public with information on stem
cell science and therapies and produces a Stem Cell Facts
brochure that members can obtain for patients. The ISSCR
also writes a patient handbook that members can distribute to
anyone looking into stem cell treatment.
