American Academy of Pain Management Sponsors 2015 Meeting

Since September 2013, Dr. Fadi “FJ” Bejjani has
worked as director of clinical research for American
CryoStem, LLC, located in Eatontown, New Jersey. In
this position, he develops clinical trials and protocols
for a variety of terminal and chronic diseases. Dr.
Fadi Bejjani belongs to several prestigious medical
organizations, one of which is the American Academy
of Pain Management.
With the goal of improving patients’ lives by
managing their pain, the American Academy of Pain
Management follows a model called integrative pain
management (IPM). This patient-centric model
encourages a healthy lifestyle, unites therapeutic
approaches, and encourages a team approach.
To encourage its members to share ideas and gain
educational credit, the association hosts an annual
The 26th annual clinical meeting, scheduled for
September 17–20, 2015 in Washington, DC, includes
speakers and hands-on educational sessions.
Members can gain continuing-education credit in a
variety of disciplines, including counseling,
pharmacy, psychology, acupuncture, and social work.
After the meeting, attendees should be able to assess
pain, create a treatment plan for those dealing with
chronic pain, and describe the benefits of using an
integrative model for pain management.
