FIWARE Context Broker Technology has been chosen in 2018 as new CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) Building Block by all European member states. Memorandum of Understanding between KAIA-NSSC and FIWARE Foundation was signed on May 28th , 2019 in Korea 7 KAIA-NSSC (National Strategic Smart City R&D Programme in Korea) and FIWARE Foundation agreed on collaboration for knowledge exchange about smart sustainable cities based upon the principles of mutual respect, reciprocal benefits and equal opportunity of discussions. The Parties will focus on the following areas: • Sharing knowledge to develop an open sustainable ecosystem based upon the smart city platform technologies • Facilitating collaboration to work together on international standard building for the implementation of smart city technologies • Enhancing joint technology development and exploring opportunities in relation to data hub, data usage and data economy or any type of concrete projects between the Parties • Jointly hosting smart city events such as workshop, conference, exhibition, etc.

Memorandum of Understanding between WeGO and FIWARE Foundation was signed on August 21st , 2019 in Thailand 8 World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (WeGO), established by 50 founding member cities in 2010, is an international association of city and other local governments, smart tech solution providers, and national and regional institutions committed to the transformation of cities into smart sustainable cities worldwide. The Parties will focus on the following areas: • The parties have agreed on a mutual membership of both organizations • Sharing knowledge to develop an open sustainable ecosystem based upon the smart city platform technologies • Facilitating collaboration to work together on international standard building for the implementation of smart city technologies • Enhancing joint technology development • Jointly hosting smart city events such as workshop, conference, exhibition, etc.
