• Data is distributed as a public good (in accordance with the
Open Data approach), and therefore the information available
in the system is accessible easily and widely.

national/regional data dissemination systems, to collect
crowdsourced data as well as to monitor environmental
indicators using remotely-sensed images
• The technical team of the New CountrySTAT is a key
resource of this service-oriented and demand-driven

assistance and relevant contacts

as well as the development of online trainings and the
dissemination of promotional material is very important

communication strategy to promote the system, to raise
awareness of its capabilities and to ensure a long-term
sustainability and expansion
