Meditate. Meditation promotes an environment that calms and clears the mind. Give yourself time to contemplate on what is actually happening so you can change your perspective. Ask yourself questions like, “Is this worth losing sleep over?”, “Will I let this ruin my day?” or “Is this how I want to spend my precious time?” Once your mind is clear of negative thoughts, fill it with positive ones then focus on it and don’t let go. Be with positive people. Negative thoughts attract negative people that create negative situations. Stop being in their company and start surrounding yourself with positive people. Once you’re with them, do your part and try to be positive as well. Some positive people don’t have lots of patience with negative people as they want to spend their time with those who are positive as well. Listen, interact and learn from them.
