Major Challenges  Some Enumerators were not given the correct information about livestock systems because many farmers didn’t keep proper records fear of taxation by Government.  Many enumerators didn’t have any agricultural background and were unable to understand the livestock systems that they found and farmers kept them at length speaking about issues on the holding irrelevant to the interview questions.  Some herds had mixed ownership, meaning the majority of the animals belong to the holder but he may be rearing a few for several family members. source: 2007 Antigua and Barbuda Census of Agriculture Final Report, July2012 9
