We analyzed the data from over 1 trillion Facebook ad impressions to create the Salesforce ExactTarget Marketing Cloud Social Advertising Benchmark Report. This report is the go-to guide for marketers who want comprehensive Facebook advertising data by industry, quarter, and even region of the world. We discovered some interesting trends in the data, and came up with some helpful recommendations for you to implement into your own strategy, based on those discoveries.

A few key findings from the report include:

- Overall CTRs doubled during 2013 from 0.18% in Q1 to 0.36% in Q4.
- Overall CPM rose from $0.31 in Q1 to $0.75 in Q4.
- Non-profit had a higher CPC and CPM than most other industries in the US.
- Facebook ads on mobile had an 11.29% conversion rate in Q1.
