Communication is more than:
• Replying questions of the students
• Solving their doubts/queries etc
• Giving some task for next class in advance
• Having group discussion out of the class
• Uploading lesson presentation to web spaces
• Check students progress
• Managing e-groups: upload, poll, discussion,
photos etc
Communication in an online education space is all
about creating a positive climate. Do not stress your
students with to much participation requests

Need to give instruction to users to
transform the cultural diversity
and multicultural approach from a
simple feature into a learning
opportunity

Multilingualism is a plus.
Both the teachers and students could
experience it in some way. Be creative

Last lesson: Online teaching is not fast at all. Time and resources are
required!
Cooperation with other teachers
could
be a way for sustainability

• Create MOOC teacher group: research-based and practical
• Tutor online/offline training sessions
• Experience interdisciplinarity and/or multidisciplinarity mooc approach
• Higher visibility for the faculty participanting to Emma
