  1. 1. Background Early part of 1990’s, Ghent University has an existing Faculty development collaboration to Benguet State University
  2. 2. <ul><li>While Saint Louis University has an old existing partnership also with Katholieke University of Leuven ( KUL ) </li></ul><ul><li>A call from the Flemish Universities thought it will be wise to submit a proposal involving all. </li></ul><ul><li>The next move was that Dr. Coronel of SLU and </li></ul><ul><li>Dr. Tagarino were asked to prepare the proposal. It was submitted and evaluated to be worthy of support. </li></ul>
