EXPERIENCE
For the past 27 years, Enforex has offered residential, Day
Camp and Home Stay programs for children and teenagers
during the summer.
Our staff members have an average 8 years experience
working at our camps and are trained at our own camp
Councilor School. In fact, a number of alumni have become
our staff over the last few years.
SUPERVISION & 24 HOUR CARE
Our top priority is the campers’ safety and well-being. Our
staff oversees that each camper has a balanced diet or one
adapted to their needs, that they follow a optimal sleep
cycles and are attended immediately should their health
require it.
CAMP ADVISORS & PERSONALIZATION
Our team of specialist advisors will recommend the camp or
destination that best suits the characteristics of the person or
his academic and recreational needs. In the same way, they
will recommend a personalized itinerary of activities and trips
so that the students will get the most out of his experience at
our camps.
ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS
Camp activities done in multicultural groups instill the values
of teamwork and individual responsibility while participants
enjoy and have fun besides maximize social relationships and
friendship between students.
On the other hand, we know that learning takes place both
inside and outside the classroom, which is why our camps
include excursions to immerse the campers in the Spanish
way of life and feeling like locals.
EXPERIENCED STAFF & OWN METHODOLOGY
Our staff is made up of native Spaniards, 90% of whom speak
English and other languages. The vast majority returns year after
year, all united by the same goal: to make your child’s summer
the most enjoyable possible! We want to help campers to
develop their spoken and listening skills. We follow the European
Framework for languages in terms of the skills we will be
teaching, but these will be developed in a more natural setting by
exploring how we use the language in practical situations.
MULTINATIONAL ENVIRONMENT
(60% Spaniards)
Our campers come from more than 32 countries, which
creates a uniquely diverse environment for developing
linguistic and interpersonal skills. By bringing together
students from all over the world, these courses allow
international youth to make Spanish friends their age, acquire
a profound understanding of the Spanish way of life and
increase their awareness of a variety of world cultures.
Learning Spanish and getting deep into Spanish culture mixed with spanish students is
a fascinating path for individual growth. Through more than 27 years, we have learned
much more: sharing in 32 nationalities, understanding the meaning of respect and mutual
enrichment regardless any difference of race, age, country of origin. We are proud about
Enforex campers. And we are incredibly thankful about witnessing every year the birth of
friendship relationships that will last beyond the Camp experience.

Our summer Spanish and English language courses are organized into 20/25
lessons per week, with 4 to 5 lessons every day, Monday through Friday (except
at the Marbella Albergue Summer Camp, where students receive 25 lessons
per week). Each class has the duration of 45 minutes and we set a maximum
of 14 students per class in order to ensure individualized attention. The
carefully designed curriculum emphasizes conversation and communication,
so that students may take full advantage of their surroundings and apply
what they’re learning by speaking with friends during the rest of the
day. The morning class hours are the only time when Spanish and
international students are separated; they rejoin in the afternoon
and at night for a variety of activities. The syllabi are 100%
compatible with the U.S. credit system”

Our Spanish Teachers
The success of all learning efforts depends on a teaching
team trained and equipped to motivate their students.
Therefore we’ve carefully selected a highly qualified and
energetic faculty for our camps. The Spanish teachers are
all natives with at least 5-year university degrees in Spanish
Linguistics and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.
Most of them have a Masters and/or Doctorate in Spanish and
all hold the CAP (Certificate of Teaching Ability). Our summer
camp faculty is experienced in teaching young people of
various ages and implements a wide array of techniques and
activities that speak to every age group and learning type.
6 Levels
Every student takes a placement test on the first day of
classes in order to determine their language level. They are
consequently placed into one of 6 levels, from very beginner to
proficiency.
Methodology
The language curriculum is designed keeping in mind at all
times that we are a Summer Camp. In other words, classes
are conceived to be sufficiently interesting and entertaining
to motivate students to the fullest, but we simultaneously
optimize class time by encouraging conversation and
discussion in a serious and professional manner. Our aim
is for students to enjoy themselves while learning as much
as possible in a short period of time. The methodology is
centered on a communicative approach, utilizing diverse
techniques to cover the fundamentals of language learning:
grammar, speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation,
writing & intercultural competence.
Teaching Materials
Our teaching materials are designed for each age group
and subdivided into varying levels of linguistic competence.
The kit, comprised principally of a text and workbook
corresponding appropriately to each class, is issued to the
student on the first day of the course. Other multimedia
audio-visual tools are also employed to present lessons and
take full advantage of our modern facilities.
Certificate
Each student will receive a certificate
detailing accomplishments realized during
his/her stay on the last day of the session.

Camp Staff
Enforex carefully selects our camp coordinators, directors and “monitores” (Spanish for “counselor” or “coach”) based on their
experience, expertise and, above all, dedication to the students. Our staff is made up of native Spaniards, 90% of whom speak
English and other languages. The vast majority return year after year, all united by the same goal: to make your child’s summer
the most enjoyable possible!

Camp Director
Besides the executive
directors of Enforex, the Camp
Director at each site holds the
highest level of responsibility.
He/she works very closely
with the coordinators and
counselors to make sure the
camp runs smoothly and
attends to the needs of every
member of the school.
Counselor
Coordinators
One Coordinator is assigned
to each of 3 categories: Kids,
Junior and Senior, thus
creating different campuses
within the same facility. The
Coordinator works closely with
the counselors/coaches to
develop and supervise camp
activities, as well as monitor
student participation to ensure
that each camper makes the
most of their summer.
Counselors
One counselor is assigned to
each group of 8-12 campers
at every summer camp. They
spend 24 hours/day with
their group, act as mentors
and tutors and take care of
any needs or concerns the
students may have. At the
Granada Junior Program,
there will be 1 tutor for every
12-15 students. These tutors
are available 24 hours a day
and accompany students on
all extracurricular activities.
The counselor team is made
up of qualified bilingual or
Spanish tutors.

Includes our logistics team
and language professors.

OUR STAFF
Enforex carefully selects our camp coordinators, directors and counselors based on their
experience, expertise and, above all, dedication to the students. Throughout the year, the camp
coordination team is dedicated to adequately training the counselors for the summer. They are
shown the camp’s philosophy and the dedication necessary to be a staff member at our camps.
In fact, some campers have even ended up becoming camp counselors at this school.

Residential stay
The residential stay embodies the essence of our
summer language camp philosophy: by living and be
mixed with 100% Spanish & international students,
studying, playing and practicing languages together
24 hours a day in a totally multicultural environment,
campers will learn interpersonal and linguistic
skills to last a lifetime. When they choose our ‘star’
program, Spanish and international campers are
only separated during the morning language classes.
They’ll experience everything else together, from
morning wake-up to sports, cultural workshops,
recreational activities, excursions, meals and much
more. It’s the perfect recipe for making life-long
friends from all over the world! Please note that
the dormitory capacity of each center differs, and
that the Seville residence holds
international students only.

Day Camp Program
Will your whole family be in Spain for the summer?
If so, this may be the summer program for you! The
Day Camp option is designed so campers can attend
camp activities during the day but return to their
families at night. Day Camp students take part in all
the same classes, sports, workshops, excursions,
etc. with residential students from about 9:15 am
to 8:00 pm (or before), but they will stay with their
families at night and on the weekends. Lunch and
snacks are included. Transportation to and from the
camp is optional.
Homestay Program
Students 14 years of age and up can choose to
become part of a Spanish family with our homestay
program. From 9:15 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. students
participate in all camp activities — language lessons,
workshops, sports and excursions— but they return
home to their host family at dinnertime.

MEDITERRANEAN DIET
Whole foods like cereals, lentils and nuts form an integral part of the Mediterranean diet. They are high in fibre, which aids
your digestive system, and are far healthier, keeping you fuller for longer, than white bread and pasta. Nuts make a great mid-
morning or afternoon snack, although they are high in calories so you shouldn’t really eat more than a handful a day. They also
contain natural and essential oils that help your hair and nails to shine!
Aside from the warm sun, clear blue sea and soft sand, living on the Mediterranean coastline certainly has its advantages.
All local food markets have fresh fish and seafood each morning lining their stalls, so there is no excuse for not consuming
a healthy amount. Oily fish, such as sardines and anchovies, which are caught in abundance off the Spanish coast, contain
omega-3 fatty acids and are low in calories. Omega-3 is excellent for your heart and brain, but bake, grill or cook your fish in
olive oil, not butter!
SPECIAL DIETS
Our kitchens are equipped to prepare food for students with special dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies, etc). Simply notify
us about special requirements upon enrollment and we will pass the information along to the camp directors and kitchen
personnel.
Takeenergy & keep healthy
Did you know? Our staff is trained
to make sure every camper enjoys a
healthy diet during their stay at our
camps. We know that great food gives
them the energy they need to have a
great time every day!
Our staff and cooks closely monitor each camper to make sure his or her
diet is balanced and complete. It’s time to get a taste of Spanish culture!

service must arrive at the Madrid Barajas airport before 9:00 am on the first day of

Uniform
We suggest that
students purchase
the camp uniform
package in order
to avoid concerns
over what to pack, losing or damaging
personal items, etc. The package
includes 5 T-shirts, 1 sweatshirt, 2 pairs
of shorts and a baseball cap. You should
order the uniform at least 10 days
before the student’s arrival; it will be
delivered to the student during the first
day of camp.
Permission to leave the
grounds
Camp personnel and directors are
aware that many of our senior campers
enjoy a certain level of freedom at
home and expect to be able to meet
with friends and go off-campus in an
unsupervised fashion. For this reason
we allow our students a limited number
of unescorted trips off-campus during
each 2-week session. The specific days,
frequency and times are determined by
each camp director.
This is possible if and only if:
• The student was born in 2000 or
earlier (for 2016) and 2001 (for 2017).
• The student submits a signed consent
form from his/her parents.
*Marbella Alemán is the only camp where this
option is not available.
Phones & E-mail
We know how important it is for you and
your child to be able to keep in touch,
so we’ve made it easy for campers to
call home. Every student will receive an
Enforex international calling card upon
arrival that can be activated and charged
with 5 € and up at the camp’s reception
desk. Enforex phone cards can be used
from any telephone, whether a land line
on-campus or an off-campus phone
while students are on an excursion.
Campers may also use their cellular
phones to call home, but only during
the designated hours set by each
camp. Each facility has an emergency
number in case you need to contact
the camp director. We will send you
this information one month before
your child’s arrival. All 9 camps have
computers with e-mail access.
Laundry
Our programs include laundry service
once every two weeks. We ask that
students bring a laundry bag and highly
recommend marking your child’s
full name on all
personal articles.
Pocket Money
Upon arrival, students
may deposit their money
in the camp bank for
safekeeping and withdraw
money as needed. Each
student’s group monitor will note
deposits and withdrawals and keep an
eye on the student’s spending habits,
in order to help them budget their
money. If you anticipate that your child
will need additional money, it will be
your responsibility to deliver said funds,
because Enforex cannot receive or deliver
money to students at our camp sites.
Medical assistance and
insurance
Each camp has a health center and 24-
hour first aid care on-site to ensure the
health and well being of the students.
If your child has any chronic medical
concerns, allergies, special dietary
needs or other requirements, simply
notify us in writing, preferably at the
time of registration. If your child plans
to bring their own medicine to the camp,
please send it with him/her, along with
full instructions on its correct use.
Additionally, it may be advisable for
the student to carry a medical report
of their special needs from his/her
doctor. All students in Spain are covered
by a standard insurance for medical
assistance, which is included in the price
of the program. However if you would like a
premium insurance policy, we advise you
to purchase this in your own country.

up on YouTube and shared on the rest of
our social networks.
Blog
Everything that happens at camp: the
best pictures of the week, games, and
other interesting things, can be found
on our blog. It is updated throughout
the year with memories of the great
times spent, updated dates, camps,
activities and more.
We choose the best photo of each of
our camps everyday and share them
on Facebook, Twitter and Google+
along with comments from our
students and counselors.
What is Enfocamp Club?
Enfocamp Club is a place where we share everything that happens at our camps:
the activities campers are doing, the trips they’re going on, the most fun games
they’re playing, etc. Counselors send us all the information necessary every day
to keep us up-to-date with everything our enfocampers are doing during their
stay at Enfocamp.
There are great quality photos and videos available of Málaga, Madrid, Barcelona,
Salamanca, etc. to download and remember the great times spent at our camps.
They’re organized in a calendar and are available all year long.

Price review
Program prices are subject to change as a result of currency
fluctuations, increase in transport rates, fuel costs and fees and taxes
applicable at the date of issue of the Enforex program. Any price
changes will be communicated to the customer, in any case if the
variation is significant (significant is considered an increase of over
15%), you can cancel the trip or accept contract amendment.
CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES
a)	All program fees must be paid at least 3 weeks prior to arrival
otherwise Enforex reserves the right to cancel the student’s place.
b)	All students who wish to cancel their program (course and/
or accommodation) prior to their arrival should notify Enforex
in writing by fax, e-mail (registration@enforex.es) or letter.
Cancellations not received via one of the 3 aforementioned
means will not be accepted.
c)	The 150€ deposit will not be returned for any cancellations
made. For cancellations prior to 4 weeks before the arrival date,
there will be a penalty of 150€ + 5% of the total cost. 50% of the
course fee will be charged for cancellations made from 2 to 4
weeks before arrival. No refund will be given 2 weeks before
arrival or once the program has started. In no case whatsoever
will money for the course or accommodation be refunded if
the student doesn’t show up, once the course has started,
if the student abandons the program for their own motives,
the parents or legal guardian or if they are expelled from the
program.
d)	All refunds will have an administration charge of 10% (a
minimum of 65€). Refunds of less than 100 e will be paid by
a check issued in Spain at no extra cost if the student is still
in Spain. If the student is outside of Spain, the refund will
be paid by bank transfer and will include a minimum 35 e
administration fee.
e)	Refunds must be requested during the 30 days following the
cancellation or the completion of the course. Once this period
is complete, the student no longer has the right to request any

g)	Cancellation fee after an Invitation Visa is issued is a minimum
of 350 e or 35% of the total cost.
USEFUL INFORMATION
Visas for Spain
• Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union do not
need a Visa to enter Spain.
• Students coming from other countries should obtain
information regarding the requirements for obtaining a Visado
(Visa) at their nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate. The
certificates that accredit and confirm the enrollment in a
Spanish program at Enforex can only be signed, sealed and sent
by people authorized by Enforex, who will not be responsible
for rejected visa applications, as these certificates do not hold
any official validity, but serve only as confirmation of a program
to be taken in one of our schools. Such documents will only be
sent to cover the amount of course time initially contracted by
the student. Enforex will send out, free of charge and to any
student who asks for them, the following documents (if and only
if the total cost of the program has been paid): confirmation of
the Spanish program chosen by the student; invoice for the total
cost of the program in question (course + accommodation).
• In the event that the student should urgently need the originals
of any of these documents, Enforex will send them and charge
the cost of the express mail to the student (Europe & USA: 45 e;
East Europe: 75 e; rest of countries: 95 e).
• If a student visa is rejected Enforex will charge the student 100
e per invitation letter sent, the 150 e deposit and any additional
basic costs. The student must show Enforex formal proof
(original copy) that their visa application has been rejected
in order to receive the refund. If this copy is not received by
Enforex, 100% of the cost of the program will be charged.
• Any refund from Enforex will have a 10% charge.
Alterations and incidents in the program
Enforex is committed to providing customers all the contracted
services contained in the program with all the stipulated
conditions, however, you should be aware of the following
considerations:
a)	In the event that, prior to the start of the program, Enforex is forced
to significantly modify an essential element of the contract (including
the price) Enforex must immediately inform the customer, detailing
the amendments and their impact on the program. The customer
may choose to terminate the contract without charge or accept the
modification in the contract. Customers must notify Enforex of the
decision taken at the earliest opportunity, and in any event, within
3 days of being notified of the change of program. In the event that
the customer does not notify us with a decision within 3 days it will
be understood that the customer opts out of the program without
penalty.
b)	In the event that Enforex is forced to cancel one of its programs
through no fault of the customer, or in the event that the customer
chooses to terminate the contract due to the circumstances
mentioned in the first paragraphs, Enforex will offer an alternative
program to equal or superior quality or refund the customer the
entire amount paid to Enforex for the program.
c)	There shall be no obligation of any kind by Enforex when
cancellation is due to forced or sufficient cause (this means
circumstances that are beyond Enforex’s control and that are
unavoidable, despite having acted with due diligence) or the
cancellation was due to not having reached the minimum
required number of people enrolled onto the program.
d)	The differences and/or claims, according to the customer,
arising during the program stage will be made know to the
organization responsible for the program in order to provide a
satisfactory solution with immediate effect. In the event that
the solution proposed by the organization is not satisfactory,
the customer can file a written complaint to Enforex within a
period of 7 days. Once all relevant documentation has been
obtained Enforex have, in turn, a period of 7 days to respond to
the complaint. The period shall run from the day the complaint
is filed by the customer.
e)	In the case of a complaint, Enforex promises to act with due
diligence to find the most satisfactory solution for the customer.
BINDING RULES FOR COMPLIANCE
The customer should adapt and adhere to the customs, schedule
and lifestyle the program presents. The customer agrees to abide
by the rules of the organization, in particular rules regarding
schedules, attendance, behavior and correct conduct with teachers,
monitors, school staff and peers. Consumption of alcohol, tobacco
and drugs are strictly forbidden. Failure to adhere to this code of
conduct will result in expulsion from the program. If this is the case
the customer will bear all the expenses incurred at his/her return,
regardless of any other liability.
CIVIL LIABILITY
Enforex has an accident and civil liability insurance policy that
covers minor accidents that may occur within its centers. Enforex
is not responsible for the loss or theft of students’ personal
property, for which we recommend you take out your own
insurance policy. Enforex merely acts as an intermediary between
the insurance company and the consumers who partake in one of
our programs. For any consumer complaint, customers should
address directly to the insurance company.
MEDICAL INSURANCE
• All ENFOREX students in Spain are covered by a standard
insurance policy. To see an overview of the policy you will
receive, please check www.enforex.com/insurance If you
would simply like to obtain a wider coverage, we advise you to
purchase this in your own country.
• In the event that during the program the customer needs
medical treatment, and/or needs to be hospitalized and/
or undergo surgery without Enforex being able to trace
the parents, guardians or legal representative, Enforex is
authorized to take action it deems fit for the customers health
in accordance with the medical centre attended renouncing any
liability on Enforex’s part. The participant must disclose any
information regarding any medical treatment and/or medication
taken during their stay in the program. Enforex disclaims any
liability for the customers failure to disclose any such medical
information, moreover, all participants must attach a photocopy
of their health insurance to the application forms.
AIRPORT PICK-UP SERVICES
• The personnel in charge of airport pick-up and transportation to
accommodation are insured, completely familiar with the area
and know exactly where the students are to be dropped off.
• Flight information (place, date, hour and flight number) must
be confirmed in writing at least one week prior to arrival.
Otherwise, Enforex will not be held responsible for picking up
the student at the airport and there will be no refund.
• If the student cancels airport pick-up service less than one
week prior to arrival, he/she will lose the right to a refund of the
cost of that service.
• In the event of any delay or changes in flight information without
previous notification, Enforex will not be held responsible for
picking up the student at the airport and there will be no refund.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

,
regarding the protection of personal data, Enforex would like
to inform you that your personal details within these general
conditions will be stored in a database (whose liability and
responsibility is IEG-ENFOREX), solely for the commercial and
operative purposes of the company. By accepting these general
conditions you give your consent to the above said treatment

time, you have the right to request that we inform you of your
rights to access, correct and cancel such information within the
established terms of the prevailing legislation, by writing to the
address: Enforex, C./ Gustavo Fernández Balbuena, 11 . 28002

  • 4. Enforex CampsWelcome Messagefortheparents Enforex Camps share the ideal of removing frontiers from communication together with millions of people worldwide. We have the ambition of creating the most fruitful cultural experiences mixing international students from 72 countries living with Spanish childrens to enable people´s personal and professional growth in the Spanish culture. We are people caring about people. For our team since 27 years, every student we meet is an opportunity to teach and learn while enjoy the summer and practicing sports and activities discovering Spain. We love the idea that putting ourselves in their shoes is the way to get the best experiences together. We believe that through education and sports with activities people can gain personal and professional growth, academic and intellectual advancement, intercultural understanding and respect. Our organization is proudly commited to continuously deliver these for both our team and our students. • 5. Enforex Commitment EXPERIENCE For the past 27 years, Enforex has offered residential, Day Camp and Home Stay programs for children and teenagers during the summer. Our staff members have an average 8 years experience working at our camps and are trained at our own camp Councilor School. In fact, a number of alumni have become our staff over the last few years. SUPERVISION & 24 HOUR CARE Our top priority is the campers’ safety and well-being. Our staff oversees that each camper has a balanced diet or one adapted to their needs, that they follow a optimal sleep cycles and are attended immediately should their health require it. CAMP ADVISORS & PERSONALIZATION Our team of specialist advisors will recommend the camp or destination that best suits the characteristics of the person or his academic and recreational needs. In the same way, they will recommend a personalized itinerary of activities and trips so that the students will get the most out of his experience at our camps. ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS Camp activities done in multicultural groups instill the values of teamwork and individual responsibility while participants enjoy and have fun besides maximize social relationships and friendship between students. On the other hand, we know that learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom, which is why our camps include excursions to immerse the campers in the Spanish way of life and feeling like locals. EXPERIENCED STAFF & OWN METHODOLOGY Our staff is made up of native Spaniards, 90% of whom speak English and other languages. The vast majority returns year after year, all united by the same goal: to make your child’s summer the most enjoyable possible! We want to help campers to develop their spoken and listening skills. We follow the European Framework for languages in terms of the skills we will be teaching, but these will be developed in a more natural setting by exploring how we use the language in practical situations. MULTINATIONAL ENVIRONMENT (60% Spaniards) Our campers come from more than 32 countries, which creates a uniquely diverse environment for developing linguistic and interpersonal skills. By bringing together students from all over the world, these courses allow international youth to make Spanish friends their age, acquire a profound understanding of the Spanish way of life and increase their awareness of a variety of world cultures. Learning Spanish and getting deep into Spanish culture mixed with spanish students is a fascinating path for individual growth. Through more than 27 years, we have learned much more: sharing in 32 nationalities, understanding the meaning of respect and mutual enrichment regardless any difference of race, age, country of origin. We are proud about Enforex campers. Our summer Spanish and English language courses are organized into 20/25 lessons per week, with 4 to 5 lessons every day, Monday through Friday (except at the Marbella Albergue Summer Camp, where students receive 25 lessons per week). Each class has the duration of 45 minutes and we set a maximum of 14 students per class in order to ensure individualized attention. The carefully designed curriculum emphasizes conversation and communication, so that students may take full advantage of their surroundings and apply what they’re learning by speaking with friends during the rest of the day. • 11. Our Spanish Teachers The success of all learning efforts depends on a teaching team trained and equipped to motivate their students. Therefore we’ve carefully selected a highly qualified and energetic faculty for our camps. The Spanish teachers are all natives with at least 5-year university degrees in Spanish Linguistics and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Most of them have a Masters and/or Doctorate in Spanish and all hold the CAP (Certificate of Teaching Ability). Our summer camp faculty is experienced in teaching young people of various ages and implements a wide array of techniques and activities that speak to every age group and learning type. 6 Levels Every student takes a placement test on the first day of classes in order to determine their language level. They are consequently placed into one of 6 levels, from very beginner to proficiency. Methodology The language curriculum is designed keeping in mind at all times that we are a Summer Camp. In other words, classes are conceived to be sufficiently interesting and entertaining to motivate students to the fullest, but we simultaneously optimize class time by encouraging conversation and discussion in a serious and professional manner. Our aim is for students to enjoy themselves while learning as much as possible in a short period of time. The methodology is centered on a communicative approach, utilizing diverse techniques to cover the fundamentals of language learning: grammar, speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing & intercultural competence. Teaching Materials Our teaching materials are designed for each age group and subdivided into varying levels of linguistic competence. The kit, comprised principally of a text and workbook corresponding appropriately to each class, is issued to the student on the first day of the course. Other multimedia audio-visual tools are also employed to present lessons and take full advantage of our modern facilities. Certificate Each student will receive a certificate detailing accomplishments realized during his/her stay on the last day of the session. • 24. MEDITERRANEAN DIET Whole foods like cereals, lentils and nuts form an integral part of the Mediterranean diet. They are high in fibre, which aids your digestive system, and are far healthier, keeping you fuller for longer, than white bread and pasta. Nuts make a great mid- morning or afternoon snack, although they are high in calories so you shouldn’t really eat more than a handful a day. They also contain natural and essential oils that help your hair and nails to shine! Aside from the warm sun, clear blue sea and soft sand, living on the Mediterranean coastline certainly has its advantages. All local food markets have fresh fish and seafood each morning lining their stalls, so there is no excuse for not consuming a healthy amount. Oily fish, such as sardines and anchovies, which are caught in abundance off the Spanish coast, contain omega-3 fatty acids and are low in calories. Omega-3 is excellent for your heart and brain, but bake, grill or cook your fish in olive oil, not butter! SPECIAL DIETS Our kitchens are equipped to prepare food for students with special dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies, etc). Simply notify us about special requirements upon enrollment and we will pass the information along to the camp directors and kitchen personnel. Takeenergy & keep healthy Did you know? Our staff is trained to make sure every camper enjoys a healthy diet during their stay at our camps. We know that great food gives them the energy they need to have a great time every day! • 27. Practicalinfo Uniform We suggest that students purchase the camp uniform package in order to avoid concerns over what to pack, losing or damaging personal items, etc. The package includes 5 T-shirts, 1 sweatshirt, 2 pairs of shorts and a baseball cap. You should order the uniform at least 10 days before the student’s arrival; it will be delivered to the student during the first day of camp. Permission to leave the grounds Camp personnel and directors are aware that many of our senior campers enjoy a certain level of freedom at home and expect to be able to meet with friends and go off-campus in an unsupervised fashion. For this reason we allow our students a limited number of unescorted trips off-campus during each 2-week session. The specific days, frequency and times are determined by each camp director. This is possible if and only if: • The student was born in 2000 or earlier (for 2016) and 2001 (for 2017). • The student submits a signed consent form from his/her parents. *Marbella Alemán is the only camp where this option is not available. Phones & E-mail We know how important it is for you and your child to be able to keep in touch, so we’ve made it easy for campers to call home. Every student will receive an Enforex international calling card upon arrival that can be activated and charged with 5 € and up at the camp’s reception desk. Enforex phone cards can be used from any telephone, whether a land line on-campus or an off-campus phone while students are on an excursion. Campers may also use their cellular phones to call home, but only during the designated hours set by each camp. Each facility has an emergency number in case you need to contact the camp director. We will send you this information one month before your child’s arrival. All 9 camps have computers with e-mail access. Laundry Our programs include laundry service once every two weeks. We ask that students bring a laundry bag and highly recommend marking your child’s full name on all personal articles. Pocket Money Upon arrival, students may deposit their money in the camp bank for safekeeping and withdraw money as needed. Each student’s group monitor will note deposits and withdrawals and keep an eye on the student’s spending habits, in order to help them budget their money. If you anticipate that your child will need additional money, it will be your responsibility to deliver said funds, because Enforex cannot receive or deliver money to students at our camp sites. Medical assistance and insurance Each camp has a health center and 24- hour first aid care on-site to ensure the health and well being of the students. If your child has any chronic medical concerns, allergies, special dietary needs or other requirements, simply notify us in writing, preferably at the time of registration. If your child plans to bring their own medicine to the camp, please send it with him/her, along with full instructions on its correct use.
