Editor's Notes

  • It is clear that we have to prepare our students for a much more demanding world in which they will enter, that is changing all the time. In this changing world, we need to be constantly uptading our skills so we can provide our students’ with the best skills. So,being involved in an e-Twinning project can be a rewarding experience for both teachers and students. In this presentation I would like to share what we have learnt and what we have enjoyed in our English class with you. (The benefits of e-twinning for our students and the impact of e-twinning on my students’learning.)
  • I have used e-twinning as a teaching tool in my classroom to improve my students’ English skills and include multicultural awareness studies as part of the curriculum.
  • Our Project Partners- Anna from Poland, Tania from Greece, Dzintra from Latvia
  • The project is going to last about 3 months.
  • We created a BLOG for our Project. So everybody can follow us and learn what we have been doing in this process.
  • We used powerpoint presentations to introduce ourselves.
  • We also introduced our school and our city.
  • We worked in groups to brainstorm the words related to spring, then in pairs, students made paper dictionaries, which were converted into Power Point presentations.
And than created our talking dictionary and shared it with the partners.
  • We created a spring dictionary in five languages, so we collected all the words from the dictionaries, looked for some translations and corrected the mistakes .
