These are the slides for the workshop on Bravery I ran with the Sheet Street management team of MRP. It is an immersive and curated process which helps delegates build their own sense of Bravery and helps them understand the fundamental but important difference between Bravery and Courage. It shows how Bravery is in actual fact, a leadership practice which serves as the building blocks for Courage.

  16. 16. Thoughts on Bravery Your Bravery does not require that you pull your nails from their beds It does require that you point with your fingers to the places and spaces in your world that diminish others that make all of your work smaller Bravery requires not that you cut your tongue out It requires its usage when decisions encourage complicity and cowardice when profits don't follow passion and purpose when the daily directive is to encourage believing in a story that no longer lives Bravery is the learnt movement to stand tall and strong with heart and conviction with the belief that your rising up and out can change lives and truly build a world that opens yourself and others to joy and connection Bravery builds that muscle which is Courage. It starts with standing up. So rise. EA Rumboll (2017)
