08 Moving through the open plan school The computer suite Principal’s Statement As the Principal of the school, I am aware that the people who choose to come to us are not just our students - they are our guests. For them to benefit fully from our excellent academic programmes, we need to ensure that all their other needs have been met. We know that, although it is always an exciting adventure to come to another country to study, it can sometimes also be a little overwhelming. For this reason we put a strong emphasis on all aspects of our students’ stay. My door is always open and I encourage our students to come to me for support with any challenge they may face as they settle into ‘The London Life’. London is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city. As Samuel Johnson famously noted, ‘whoever is tired Kris Hall, Principal,StudyCentres Greenwich of London is tired of life!’ With the help of our students and the experience of our staff we have developed social programmes that encourage and support every student to make the most of the exciting and interesting opportunities that the City has to offer. We are proud to offer our students fantastic facilities that are so close to the heart of the city, and yet, situated in the leafy, calm oasis that is historic Greenwich. However, it is the social environment within the school - created by the mix of diverse cultures and nationalities sharing this wonderful new space – that makes ISIS Greenwich the ideal place to study in London.
