and treatment of illness.
Contemporary medicine applies
health science, biomedical
research, and medical
technology to diagnose and
treat injury and disease,
typically through medication or
surgery, but also through
therapies as diverse as
psychotherapy, external splints
& traction, prostheses,
biologics, ionizing radiation and
others. The word medicine is
derived from the Latin ars
medicina, meaning the art of
healing.
History of MedicineHistory of Medicine
All human societies have medical beliefs that provide
explanations for birth, death, and disease.
Throughout history, illness has been attributed to
witchcraft, demons, astral influence, or the will of
the gods. These ideas still retain some power, with
faith healing and shrines still used in some places,
although the rise of scientific medicine over the
past millennium has altered or replaced mysticism
in most cases.
Prehistoric Medicines
Though there are no records to establish plants
where the first medicines or were used for
medicinal purposes (herbalism). Over the time
which has passed through emulation behaviour
of fauna a medicinal knowledge base was
developed by the passed generations.

How Medicines are Dangerous?
Medical mistakes kill 100,000+ people a year. If a
Jumbo Jet crashed and killed 280 people everyday..
365 days a year.. year after year.. would you be
concerned about flying?? Would you question the
Federal Aviation Administration? Would you
demand answers?? Think about it .. close to
100,000 people dying every year from plane
crashes. Sounds Ridiculous??!!Well think again..
what if you were told that over 100,000 people are
killed and over 2 million people maimed and
disabled every year after year from modern
medicine... would you believe it??
Would 'YOU' not question the Federal Aviation
Department what is the cause of death the of people
in so HUGE numbers??? 100,000+ people dying
every year due to a single reason!!!! Does this
question not arise in your mind “What about
Hospitals? How many people DIE every year due to
medical mistakes???

Do you also need the same fate? If you die, there will be no
change to the world, nobody in South Africa,US,India etc. will
even know that you have died (until someone tells them)
except your near and dear ones! You know what happens if
you eat/drink these things. Before you die make a change in
this world! There are many unfortunate people who die even
before they are able to take a single breath. May they Rest in
Peace. You are the luckiest person who got a chance to live
in this world. Make a change in it before you die! As the
famous saying goes “To live is the rarest thing in the world,
Most people only EXIST, that's it.”
