CAMAÇARI INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX ► Over 90 chemical companies, petrochemical and other industries such as automotive, pulp, copper metallurgy, textiles, fertilizers, energy drinks and services. ► CETREL is responsible for the treatment and final disposal of the industrial effluents and waste, as well as for the environmental monitoring of the industrial complex and of its entire area of influence.

CETREL ► Created in 1978 to operate together with the other industries of Camaçari Industrial Pole. ► The company defines actions for diagnosis and remediation of contaminated areas integrated into a number of strategies for the sustainable management of water resources. ► Makes investments every year into new technologies and processes equivalent to 7% of the company’s total invoicing, always aiming to generate the best solutions, adding value and competitiveness to its clients.
  4. 4. ► Integrate the new tools with the internal laboratory systems LIMS – MyLIMS and financial systems, providing a planned workflow and reduction of failures for the involved departments.► Store and manage large amounts of environmental data (more than two thousand monitoring wells and about two million analytical results) in a secure, reliable and fast processing environment while also increasing quality control of the data.► Ensure efficient data collection of multiple field technicians generating data simultaneously.► Increase productivity in performing routine activities such as reducing the time to collect and analyze data.► Improve the customer relationship reflecting greater speed and quality in the delivery of data analysis.► Establish quality guidelines and create workflows without deviations, allowing decision making with greater credibility.
  5. 5.  Worked in partnership with GEOKLOCK integrating systems, creating a workflow with fully planned sampling, execution of fieldwork, association with analytical results and financial close. Implemented EarthSoft’s EQuIS Sample Planning Module (SPM) tool for the development of the Management Plan for Water Resources directed primarily to the demands of the Camaçari Industrial Pole. Implemented EarthSoft’s EQuIS Data Gathering Engine (EDGE) on mobile electronic devices to replace paper forms to use in accordance with fieldwork (in the first week, 30% of reduction in time to collect field data and to insert into the database). Standardized chain of custody, allowed to conduct standards for the most diverse types of data and increased the level of internal organization. Provided greater employee motivation and customer satisfaction, making the development and delivery of consistent and reliable reports more functional and faster.
