Facing Climate Change: Sustainable Energy Solutions Moving Forward April 19th 1:00 - 2:00 (EST)In recognition of Earth Day 2013 (April 22nd), theECPA Senior Fellows Program will hold a webinar toaddress the issue of sustainable energy.It will be hosted by two of our Fellows, each of whomare experts in their field. They will presentindividually, drawing on their own expertise as well asfrom their sponsored trips as ECPA Senior Fellows tothe Latin American and Caribbean region.Furthermore, you, the audience will have the oppor-tunity to put questions to the panel in order to create alive, collaborative dialogue where uncertainties, REGISTER HERE! concerns or solutions can be explored. Dr. Daniel Kammen is the Class of 1935 Distinguished Professor of Energy at the University of California, Berkley, where he holds appointments in the Energy and Resources Group, the Goldman School of Public Policy, and the Department of Nuclear Engineering. He is the founding director of the Renew- able and Appropriate Energy Laboratory and the Co-Director of the Berkley Institute of the Environment, as well as the Director of the Transportation Sustainability Research Center. Jeff Soule is the Director of Outreach and International Programs at the American Planning Association as well as currently serving as Treasurer of the US/ICOMOS Board of Trustees, a US delegate to the General Assembly for ICOMOS and a member of the Cultural Towns Scientific Committee of ICOMOS. Mr. Soule has expertise in urban planning, natural resource conservation, policy and legislation for urban planning and development management, climate change strategies for adaptation and mitigation, and spatial policies related to energy reduction.
