Additional Results • An important result not covered by the KPIs was the mutual learning Ad hoc logistics team was copied by Company A after seeing the impact on Company B’s project CMB implemented a consolidation centre for the new project of the Florence tramway Another company is looking on how to implement some of the lessons learned in an upcoming major construction project • Our Report on best practices in the EU and US attracted much interest

Interactive Web Toolkit This toolkit, which is under development, will allow construction and transport companies and local authorities to self evaluate the complexity of their future construction project(s) and to receive targeted advise including: • A Cost Benefit Analysis for the implementation of a Construction Consolidation Centre • A list of best practices, ordered by priority, that fit with this specific group of projects • An interactive map to decide the best location of a CCC amid a given set of options More screenshots are available in the backup slides.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 633338. • Clear, unbiased scientific knowledge on the costs and benefits of consolidation centers and other policy measures (e.g. limitations on size, class, mode, delivery windows etc.) can lead to larger adoption with benefits for the affected urban areas • A better approach to the logistics of construction projects can lead to an important reduction of their negative externalities and decrease the costs of building and renovating • Potentially generalizable evidence-based collaborative decision-making environment for cities can impact the solution of a number of other urban issues • The SUCCESS consortium is evaluating the commercial exploitation of the decision support tools that it is developing Potential long-term impact
