  7. 7. My media product (front cover) uses, develops and challengesforms and conventions of real media products in many ways. This is because as part of my research I found many conventionsfrom real existing products that I have developed in using for myown work. I found out that I should include: A Masthead, tagline, straplines, barcode, price, cover image, puff and a kicker. As aresult, I had spotted out the essential conventions that I shoulduse and related them to my own R&B music genre magazine.

  17. 17. In terms of the image itself I hadused the brightness, contrastand blur tool on Photoshop tomake my image lookprofessional. I blurred the leftside of the image so that when Iadded text it could be seenclearly. The clothes the artist iswearing is important as itrepresents the latest style andfashion in which the audiencewill look forward to. Therefore,in terms of the R&B genre theway the artists portraythemselves is essential.
