CC-BY 4.0 Projects on training / formation 6  ReSkill: to stimulate and to optimize the trainings in the agri-food sector: - Creation of study program on a free e-platform - Develop new methods of work (team collaboration, case studies…) - Define needs and required skills - Develop new methods of learning in adequacy with the needs for the food industries = Proposing work-oriented digital formation tools  FRESH: improving the formation of Human Resources Managers through new courses and pedagogical tools  FEEDTheMIND: MOODLE Platform to support ECOTROPHELIA Students & staff  FOODIMPROVIDERS: Training in short food chains

CC-BY 4.0 Conclusions of the projects on training / formation 7  MOOCS & e-learning platforms were used mainly by students and university staff [FEEDTheMIND]  It is complex to create attractive tools for workers or adults in continuing education: little time/interest in formats that are considered "academic".  Needs vary from one sector to another: the meat sector has developed the use of MOOCs, while other sectors are still identifying their training needs. = How can lifelong learning be made effective and attractive? With what tools?
  8. 8. CC-BY 4.0 Virtual Reality project 8 In a context of transformation of skills for current and future needs, the European training offer in the food sector is not up to standard. The project aims to propose new training tools related to Virtual Reality (VR), through an unprecedented European cooperation, to train current and future workers of the food sector.  Target: Vocational training providers  Objective: study the best practices in Virtual Reality training, and develop VR training modules co- constructed by several european countries = Revolutionising training methods and adapting to a ubiquitous digital environment = a training enabling direct integration into a production line, for example, by having upstream knowledge of procedures, machines...
