SMULDERS. He was a pupil of mine at WesterfordHigh Schoolfrom
January 2009 whenhe joined us, from Gauteng,at the startof Grade
Nine, until he matriculated fromthis schoolin November2012.
He is an excellentsportsman – physically strong and skilful – and
representedthe Schoolin both Rugby and Waterpolo.His strength on
the sports field, his commitmentand tenacity,and his ability were
noteworthy features ofhis contribution to the teams of which he was a
part, especially the First Rugby XV.
He is a very polite and pleasantyoung manwho considersmatters
carefully,is unafraid to stand his groundif he thinks he is correct. He
mixed well and easily with his peers and earned their respect.In
addition,he has a very pleasantsense ofhumour.
