  6. 6. © 2019 Dyknow – Proprietary and Confidential | 6 Distance learning is characterized as learning that takes place outside of a classroom. To stay in communication, students and teachers use digital devices and systems such as email or the internet.
  7. 7. Key differences between in-class learning and distance learning include location and interaction.
  8. 8. The location for traditional learning takes place in a classroom, in contrast to distance learning being done remotely.
  9. 9. As far as interaction time, students that use traditional online learning have interactions with their teachers and peers, where there are no interactions with anyone during distance learning.

Media Specialist and Technology Coach, Eric Guise had some great advice: Focus on resources that fits the needs of the tech uncomfortable and adapt advanced resources to the tech comfortable.

  14. 14. © 2019 Dyknow – Proprietary and Confidential | 14 Asynchronous learning: Student learning takes place at different times and there is a deadline set by the teacher.
