1.Stretching bond is the most common used brick bond
for single skin walls (4 inch wall) in Bangladesh
2. It is also termed as “running bond”
3. In this arrangement all the bricks are laid as
strechers
4. It is used for half brick wall only
5. This is commonly adopted in the
construction of half brick thick leaves of
cavity walls , partition walls

header course come over each ather and
vice versa
