Co-funded by the European Union Pilot - Basic info The pilot is set in the City of Novi Sad, Serbia It is funded by EU as one of four pilots across European cities Serbian partners involved DNET JGSP Novi Sad City of Novi Sad Pilot aims are: •To demonstrate the mobile payment in public transport utilising the QR code, augmented reality (AR) and optical validation. •To provide a multimodal transport through integration of two transport means (busses and rental bikes) •To demonstrate interoperability of payment systems for different transport means

Co-funded by the European Union Planned functionalities Enable traveller to select route Provide the best routing options Enable users to find bus arrival times using AR Ability to purchase bus tickets Validation of tickets in the busses Busses equipped with tracking devices Initial phase with 20 participants, followed by 50 in the second phase and 100-200 in the final phase

Co-funded by the European Union Pilot Site – phase I status Pilot is set in Novi Sad Covers one bus line initially Based on the use of QR code bus stop stickers and a dedicated mobile app 23 volunteers chosen from partners’ institutions (JGSP, City of Novi Sad and DunavNET) Baseline survey conducted Two options for validators • External (statically mounted on the bus) • Integrated within the mobile application (user validates ticket) MobiWallet mobile app (mTicketing) in testing phase, soon to be published on Google Play

Co-funded by the European Union Pilot Site – phase I status Busses equipped with GPS tracking and ekoNET devices MobiWallet mobile app - available functionalities: • An information on bus arrival times using augmented reality • A map with tracked bus locations • Environmental/weather information • Selection of tickets (payment gateway being tested) • QR ticket represented as pkPASS • Tourist information (soon) • Ticket validation in busses • Currently implemented on just one bus line

Co-funded by the European Union Fraud protection • Mobile ticket has three characteristics which ensure the ticket cannot be misused: – The number of a bus where the ticket is validated – Timer which counts down from 30’ down and thus prevents copying the ticket on other phones – Colour coding of tickets: gray invalidated; green valid , red upon validation expiration
