1. DUGALD STORIE
Career Summary
I have devoted my entire working career to the Rural Industry. This has spanned from growing
up on my families farming and grazing properties at Narrabri NSW and Tambo QLD to owning
and operating a mixed farming property at Inverell NSW.
I attended Longreach Pastoral College upon completion of my secondary schooling at The Kings
School in Sydney. This ensured I entered the workforce with a strong depth of knowledge in
many key areas of Agriculture.
After graduating, I became a Jackaroo in the Riverina and Southern Tablelands of NSW, I gained
a much broader view of rural industries and experienced the value of working in team
environments. I was very fortunate to have great mentors during these years and I have continued
to draw on their influence over time.
In early 2013 I moved to Toowoomba to give my Children the best education I could afford, this
has been a success. I started a Business called Bush Recruitment, which specialises in recruiting
high quality people to work in the rural industry. I am dedicated to the rural industry. I am
passionate about the people who want a career in our industry and hold the belief that the future
is only in the hands of the people who are going in to it.
