David Steinfeld is a Florida Bar Board Certified Business Litigation attorney. Mr. Steinfeld regularly litigates cases involving issues of corporate governance and dissolutions, contractual disputes, business torts, license and franchise agreements, trade secrets, UCC disputes, real estate contract and land-use disputes, commercial mortgage foreclosures, special assets prosecution, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, securities and commercial arbitrations, creditor’s rights, bankruptcy adversary cases, and independent actions in probate.
He is licensed to practice law in Florida and is additionally authorized to practice before the U.S. Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the Eleventh Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also licensed before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
He was formerly a Captain in the U.S. Army JAG Corps and was stationed in Texas, Korea, Japan, Washington, D.C. and Georgia, where he represented service members in courts-martial and administrative hearings.
He earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He speaks Japanese, some Korean, and is an Eagle Scout.
