1) Head and neck cancer accounts for 6.7% of all cancer cases in Al-Qassim, Saudi Arabia between 1987-2000.
2) The most common site is the nasopharynx and the most common histology is squamous cell carcinoma.
3) Most patients present with advanced stage disease, and the majority have undifferentiated or poorly differentiated tumors.
