  11. 11. • How about Activity and Thinking together • Benefits of relaxation = exercise for disease modification • Markers of inflammation (oxidative stress) • Working the lungs/heart with breath will prepare you for vigorous workout later

  16. 16. Nature at its best • Smell (olfactory sense is one of the fastest stimulators) • Sight (the speed of nature slows the brain) • Sound (birds, waves, crickets, rain, wind) • Feel (soft trail, leaves, snow, gravel, twigs) • Taste (low glycemic index foods)
