  2. 2. <ul><li>We all have chakra energy, whether we know it or not. It is the energy we feel that enables us to Be. </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>A chakra is said to evolve when it becomes dominant in the mass consciousness of a society. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>This Energy moves civilizations forward though time and history. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>The first chakra to develop in primitive society was the root or sacral chakra, denoting Earth Energy. This energy system lies at the base of the spine and is concerned primarily with survival on the physical plane. </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Early cave dwellers had to utilize the energy of the first of root chakra to simply exist in a dangerous world. </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>A single-minded focus on physical survival, security, health, money, and even death reflects the activity of the primary energy of the Root chakra. </li></ul>
  8. 8. <ul><li>The second chakra to develop in human evolution was the second or pelvic chakra. This energy system lies in the pelvis and is concerned primarily with relationships. It’s awakening led to the development of society. </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>As physical needs were met, social relationships began to develop. Towns were formed and societies developed. </li></ul>
  10. 10. <ul><li>Sensuality and sexuality between two people expanded to include pleasure and gratification available from others. </li></ul>
  11. 11. <ul><li>Societies were built on the energy of the navel or pelvic second chakra, the Energy of Water . </li></ul>
  12. 12. <ul><li>Once human beings had established safety and community, the personal power of the third chakra began developing in the solar plexus area, Fire Energy . </li></ul>
  13. 13. <ul><li>The third chakra, the solar plexus, is a masculine power of aggressiveness, competitiveness, recognition, status, self-image and significance. </li></ul>
  14. 14. <ul><li>The solar plexus chakra has been predominate throughout the 20th century. </li></ul>
  15. 15. <ul><li>The fourth chakra to emerge in society is the heart chakra and contains Air Energy. </li></ul>
  16. 16. <ul><li>The “love-ins” of the 1960”s, more than anything else, express the emergence of the fourth chakra, opening of the heart chakra. </li></ul>
  17. 17. <ul><li>Opening of the heart chakra allows self-acceptance and generates feelings of love and caring for others as well as oneself. </li></ul>
  18. 18. <ul><li>The heart chakra is the feminine center. It balances the self-preoccupation of the lower centers and acts as a bridge to higher emotions and energies. </li></ul>
  19. 19. <ul><li>The Throat chakra, emerging now contains the Energy of Sound and communication. </li></ul>
  20. 20. <ul><li>The opening of the Throat Chakra is the opening of our creative abilities of self-expression is the next major lesson for many of us. </li></ul>

  24. 24. <ul><li>The energies here connect us with our Higher Self and encourage the development and practical use of intuition. </li></ul>
  25. 25. <ul><li>Our spiritual center, the Crown chakra, is located at the top of the head and is our connection with cosmic consciousness. </li></ul>
  26. 26. <ul><li>The energy of the Crown chakra enables us to live in the moment, without desire. To be truly free of concerns, worries, doubts, and fears. </li></ul>
