Dr. Eric Berg is a practicing physician who began his career as an emergency room doctor. Later, he became interested in helping people lose weight and reverse chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease through nutritional interventions, particularly ketogenic diets. Between 2017 and 2019 (when the pandemic paused such large public gatherings), Dr. Berg hosted annual Keto Health Summits, most recently in Washington, DC. Annual attendance rapidly grew to 1,000 physicians, diet coaches, healthcare practitioners, and a host of keto-dieters sharing remarkable wellness experiences and dramatic weight loss.
