I hear it from clients all the time: “God answered my prayer, that was a divine appointment!”. They’ve met someone who showed up in their life at just the right time, or so it appears. A new relationship. A job offer. But all that glitters is not gold. How can you tell who orchestrated the encounter?

  4. 4. Divine:Â "of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god
  5. 5. Why do we always assume its the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?
  6. 6. God's people perish for lack of knowledge
  7. 7. Demons can answer prayers also
  8. 8. They can put thoughts in our minds and set up encounters
  9. 9. Their plan is for destruction (John 10:10)
  10. 10. When we speak things out or do things, the demons become aware
  11. 11. How to Discern the Source?
  12. 12. 1. Do you have peace or concern primarily?
  13. 13. 2. Do family and valued ones share your view?
  14. 14. 3. Do you constantly have to look past the negatives to cling to positives?
  15. 15. Do you find yourself saying, things will be better after I do it?
  16. 16. With relationships, problem issues during courtship never improve after marriage
  17. 17. Potential job concerns should be resolved upfront
  18. 18. God does set up supernatural encounters and we welcome those
  19. 19. The demonic realm can set them up also and we need to discern
  20. 20. Plans fail for lack of counsel but succeed with many advisers (Prov. 15:22)
  21. 21. Don't become prideful and isolated
  22. 22. Listen to Holy Spirit's voice (John 10:27) and don't dismiss it
  23. 23. Seek out the counsel of others who love Him and you
