  2. 2.  Jonas is selected to inherit the position of "Receiver of Memory,” The person who stores all the past memories of the time before Sameness, in case they are ever needed to aid in decisions that others lack the experience to make. As Jonas receives the memories from the Giver, he discovers the power of knowledge. The people in his community are happy because they do not know of a better life, but the knowledge of what they are missing out on could create major chaos. He faces a dilemma: Should he stay with the community, his family living a shallow life without love, color, choices, and knowledge, or should he run away to where he can live a full life?Jonas
  3. 3. Jonas has to make the decision to pick a life withoutcolor, knowledge, and important memories or he can run away and giveGabe the opportunity to live the proper way. I think Jonas should livehis life the proper way, with color and knowledge. I also think that heshould take Gabe with him for him to have a better chance at life thanJonas did.

  5. 5. { Life Of A Lie { Save The GirlJimmy has to make a decision, a live a life as a lie or save the girl. I thinkthat Jimmy should save the girl because he has been doing wrong all ofhis life, I think that he should do something nice and right for someoneother than himself.
  6. 6. Zebra (Pg. 184) { Zebra is about a boy who’s nickname was Zebra because of how fast he could run. They said by the way he bent his neck, it made him look like a zebra. One day he was out running, and he ran down a hill to fast and got hit by a car. After the accident, he goes to school and meets Vietnam solider John Wilson. Over the summer be faces a dilemma. Should he start back running or go to drawing classes with John Wilson?
  7. 7. Zebra has to make a decision, sit at home with a broken hand or go the drawing{ classes taught by Vietnam John Wilson. I think that he should go to the classes because he would just sit at him depressing himself because of his hand.
  8. 8. Reflection { All three characters perseverance through three different adversities. Some through knowledge and happiness, others out of the of being alone, and some depressing. The characters were strong throughout their story and made the right decision each time.
