Presentation from workshop given to nurses and health care professionals looking to improve their academic poster game using some fundamental principals of graphic design.
Workshop learning objectives:
-Identify elements of sound message design (Story, Focus, Message Design)
- Recognize elements of visual design o Proximity, Alignment, repletion, contrast o Typography o Shapes o Colour
- List different types of data visualization/presentation
- Apply the design principals explored in the workshop their own work using free online tools (Piktochart and Canva)
