3) Résultats cependant CONTROVERSÉS en raison de différentes imperfections dans la plupart des études,
transversales pour la majorité (comme souligné dans la référence citée ci-dessus).
Une étude longitudinale japonaise sur plus de 10 ans conclut à un effet protecteur d’une NAFLD, mais
seulement chez l’homme (Hashimoto et al.).
A l’inverse, une autre étude n’a trouvé un effet bénéfique sur la mortalité que chez les femmes de plus de 65 ans.
