  • Docebo company geographics and big map that was used in the slide pitch deck with the numbers associated to penetration of elearning and reference to analyst source.
This slide has the goal of strategically positioning docebo as a global authoritative player that looks at the big picture and not only as a vendor of lms in a confined region. The map should also provide a graphical view at where are our offices are located -> this was put on slide 6 instead and random points at where are distributors are located (does not have to be too accurate, just the idea of a channel network) For the direct offices: - milan
    - naples
    - athens, US
    - dubai
    - India
  • Trinity Mirror is a leading digital media and publishing company

We are focused on producing content that is a daily part of people lives

Digital media is a rapidly changing ever evolving field

There are a number of functions and people with varied skillsets that have to be employed and trained to make our business evermore successful
  • Our approach to learning and development involves attracting the right kind of candidate, developing thier skills, and progressing them through the company to share their skills and address new challenges.

Our LMS plays a major role in the development of our employees

The varied development needs of our employees played a major role in the development of criteria for our LMS selection

Each organization will have their own particular needs

The key for whatever solution you decide to go with is to make sure that the solution works for you and your business processes, rather than changing your workstream to work within the system
  • How do you determine what your needs are for an LMS?

    We went to the people.

We asked our stakeholders what they envisioned our LMS to be

We looked at feedback from classroom experiences, surveys, user experience studies, HR administration, even our Help Desk agents

We wanted to know what the major gripes were with the people that have to use the LMS on a daily basis, as well as those that would only use the system when asked.

We determined that we needed a flexible yet advanced system. A system that we could customise to suit our needs but also a system that we could grow into.
  • Our major needs are listed here:

We have many systems throughout the company so the thought of having to give our users yet another login was not an option for most of our users.
We now have the ability to provide SSO via for the majority of our employees and well as provide pword mngt for some of our external businesses

As we are a creative company we have a mix of PC and Mac users, we had to accommodate all systems that are deployed throughout the business

    ….continue with each point….

Docebo checked each of these boxes for us. I also had the opportunity to test drive the systems and upload SCORM, PDFs, MP4s, all of the learning resources that I was hoping to use in the system to get a real look and feel as to what it would really be like working in the system and what the experience would be like for our users as well.
