Definition <ul><li>Sustainable development is using ,conserving and enhancing the community’s resources so that ecological processes, on which life depends, are mentioned and the total quality of life, now and in future , can be increased. For development to be sustainable, it must take account of social and ecological factors, as well as economic ones; of the living and non-living resource base; and of the and short term advantages and disadvantages of alternative actions . </li></ul>
