  • 5. Remember this…………………… How to read a story? What does the reader need to do to make it an effective story session? Look at your assignment brief and familiarise yourself with the skills you need to demonstrate.
  • 7. Reflect on the stories heard and feedback.
  • 8. Evaluate Use your feedback from your peers and class tutor to write a reflective evaluation about your story session. You could add what you think the children would have learnt from the session
  • 9. Extension: Do’s and Don’ts • Create a flyer for apprentice early years practitioners explaining the Do’s and Don’ts for reading stories to children.
