5. The Central Library offers a collection to support education and research on this campus and
includes:
General handbooks, specialised monographs and loose-leaf subscriptions about:
- Business & Economics, Tax, Social Work;
- Law, Health care and prevention;
- Communication studies, History;
- Teacher Training;
- Linguistics, Literature, Translation and Interpretation studies
and related disciplines.
A wide range of reference works such as technical glossaries and dictionaries;
Newsletters, various (international) magazines, scientific & trade journals;
Statistics of (inter)national authorities and organisations;
Reports of Belgian and international organisations;
A selection of the defended master theses of the degree programmes in Heatlh Care, Commercial
Sciences, Commercial Engineering, Environment Health & Safety Management, Law, Social Work,
Teacher Training and Linguistics & Literature;
Audiovisual materials;
E-sources: Online Databases and multimedia applications.
The library collection is displayed in open shelves on 8 floors and is thematically classified by
subject. You may browse it freely in the reading room. Items stored in the stack rooms must be
applied for at the central information desk.
On the 1st floor there is a computer room with print, copy and scan facilities. Wireless internet is
available.
