Top Three Bitcoin Wallets Of 2016
As per the 2nd edition review of bitcoin wallets conducted by Open Bitcoin Privacy
Project (OBPP), there have been some notable changes in the wallet rankings from last
year. Many bitcoin wallets have switched positions in terms of security, privacy, quality
and the most importantly, user feedback. OBPP released the latest wallet rankings in its
second edition review of “Bitcoin Wallet Privacy Rating Report” earlier this year.
All the bitcoin wallets are thoroughly reviewed by an adroit team of engineers and each
wallet is given a particular score based on certain aspects like safety, quality, security,
usability and customer feedback. And all these ratings are based on that score that is
given out of 100.
OBPP has reviewed 20 bitcoin wallets and gave them rating based on their score.
However, in this blog post, we’ll be covering top three bitcoin wallets. But you can see
the other wallets along with their position and score in the following graphical
Ledger wallet stands on top of the list with an overall score of 50 out of 100. Ledger
provides a wide range of hardware wallets with smart card functionality. The ledger
nano is a USB stick, just like a pen drive that can be inserted into your desktop PC or
laptop. After the validation of user PIN in a computer, the user can make transactions to
multiple accounts. It also has a Google Chrome extension for the browsers.
