- About The goal of the DigiBird project is to integrate three audience engagement approaches that use crowdsourcing initiatives for three vastly different media types: 1) images (Rijksmuseum Amsterdam) - Accurator enables ornithologists to provide bird annotations for artworks. This framework is developed within the SEALINCMedia COMMIT/ project. 2) videos (Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision) - The Spotvogel project lets users annotate videos of „Vroege Vogels‟ (or „Early Birds‟, a nature series by public broadcaster BNN-VARA). 3) sounds (Xeno-canto) - Xeno-canto enables bird enthusiasts to collect and describe bird sounds. This project is supported by SEALINCMedia partner Naturalis.
