The six workstreams of the Digital Public Library of America met just prior to the DPLA plenary meeting in Washington, DC on October 21 to develop draft mission statements and begin to address key priorities and ways forward for the DPLA.

  5. 5. Governance <ul><li>Develop a system of decision making and management for the DPLA. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Legal and Policy <ul><li>Illuminate legal issues and, where feasible, provide information and options for addressing legal issues for America’s libraries as they go digital. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Technical Aspects <ul><li>Establish the technical and normative principles of the technological framework that will best support the DPLA's aims. </li></ul>
