  1. 1. RULE-BASED REASONING USING STATE SPACE SEARCH Using State Space Search allows us to approach reasoning as a path planning question. Different algorithms can be plugged in for different characteristics by simple configuration. By viewing the reasoning process as a framework, we allow ourselves to customize parts of it to better match our needs with little effort.
